Especially since our parents used to schlep us around in station wagons.

If we complained that things were too crowded, they folded down the back seat so we could play in the back.

 

How come?

BTW...noticed a drop from $3.99 to $3.93 at the Exxon station in my neighborhood when I was on my way to work this morning.

 

Two reasons:

1. I just can't afford it. I've been working my ass off to get out of debt and into a house. Driving from Katy to the Galleria for work everyday means I have to fill my Camry up about once a week at $55-60. Add in tolls and I'm paying a lot of money to work.

2. My roommate/landlord turned into a douchebag so I've been staying at my girlfriend's place most of the week for the last month or so. It's about a two minute drive to my office, so I've been saving on both tolls and gas. That's going to end in a few weeks since we're moving into our new house on August 9th. Housewarming party isn't until September 20th, though.

 

Girlfriend????? Duuuuude! When did this happen? Where did you meet her??

Doe she have any sisters???

 

Last November and she's an only child. We were going to come Friday night, but she just started a normal 8-5 gig (worked in the newspaper biz her whole life) and she's having a hard time adjusting to waking up before noon everyday.
