I replace my love for T-Mac with Ray Allen. I always liked something about that dude.

    Charles was right.

Sheed could do EVERYTHING in his prime, there was not one thing the guy was bad at. He did everything at a average level (well maybe not dribbling, but he was a big man so not needed)

If Sheed really wanted to, he could have been maybe...a all-time great.

Same can be said for a lot of guys though, like our pal Tmac. Who knows maybe we'll be saying this about Lebron 5 years from now :p

Some guys have the talent and not the drive...some guys have the drive (Chuck Hayes) just not the tools and talent.

I'd rather have Ray Allen jack up 3 pointers than T-mac.

Its hard to compare Sheed and Kobe. We will never know how Sheed's untapped potential could have panned out if he had the same work ethic and determination. The doubters should take a look at this to see his ability.

Ray Allen's shooting should never be referred to as "jacking up shots." Even when he misses, it's a thing of beauty.

Look at the size/skill ratio coming out. How many guys have ever played in the nba that are the size of odom and has the skill level of odom? Derrick Mckey,Tim Thomas, and thats probably it. We have seen guys with kobe's size and skill level, but some or most couldn't sustain it. Carter, mcgrady, throw in guys like pierce just to name a few in the modern era. 6'6 scoring shooting guards are alot easier to find talent wise than a guy 6'10 with odoms skill level. Thats what has been disappointing about odom in his career as wll as the others mentioned. When he wants to be, he can be the best player on the court regardless of whomever else is on the court. Kobe is the best player on the court all the time and he knows it.
