You basically just summed up the message board for every single team in whatever sport you are talking about. It's called homerism. Message boards are filled with it.
He didn't defend at a very high level this year baring some games, not having Yao also made things tough for him.
well morey said in his twitter: this is what we say on clutchfans, if you dont watch the rockets, and just believe what the media is saying (they only talk about lebron and kobe) and you write poor articles, you suck. if you provide info about your research then your work is more credible.
In all honesty, there are a number of posters on here that compose more accurate, engaging, and entertaining pieces than most of the mainstream media. Put simply, it's a matter of dedication. We are more dedicated to this team than they are and it shows. Rileydog (wish you'd post more threads, but, I understand why), msn, myself (I believe), DaDakota (when focused, which has been more often than not lately), Elvis, Clutch, and a host of others consistently put out quality material. Hell, our grammar is even better and we don't have the benefit of a golden parachute Editor. For those that dislike Solomon, try to keep him in perspective. He's the devil's advocate and I appreciate him for that. He states the "wind" and how it blows but, admittedly, doesn't explain why it blows that way. That's fine. It's the "voice", so to speak, of the Everyman. In all fairness, though, you could replace some of his columns with a post from this site and accomplish the same thing whilst giving the readers a different writing style, different lexicon, different "j'na se qua" from the passionate dedicated mass of Red readers.
Agreed.. also, just wanted to give you the correct spelling of "Je ne sais quoi" should you ever want to use it again
If you think Feigen is a puppet, Fritz is DEFINITELY a puppet. He actually works for the organization, so you won't see any breaking news or any story that even sniffs harsh criticism. It's as light and as fluffed as you'd expect from a guy whose team he covers writes his paychecks. Nothing personally against Jason, he seems like a great dude, but just saying.
Nah, lets take a look at the win/loss column. Rockets is sitting right in the middle seed 9/10 area, therefore we are average... no brain just look. at least that's what these writers do.
Jason is pretty good. I thought he was better when he was working for the Press. His hands are tied now since he works for the Rockets. He isn't able to touch certain topics like he used to. He's still great now but it sucks he can't comment on certain things. He's great in interviews.
Ah, just what we need... a select group of people who stick up for Solomon by extending the opposition's argument to all newspapers and media sources and writers ever in order to discredit the opinion altogether! Flawlessly done my good friend! Enjoy your two star opinion!
