I would like to see that post. If I did say it I have a feeling it was meant in jest, probably towards you. I wouldn't come in here just to screw with people whether you want to believe it or not. I have respect for why this forum was created in the first place. I don't understand that. Why do my opinions have to be based on fact? They are opinions. Do I have to have scientific evidence why I don't like green beans? I just don't like them. Well, see, there's your problem. I'm not well read nor well informed. I do have a degree from a major university though. I think the bottom line is you are annoyed that another conservative came in here and had differing (although not fact based) opinions that you don't agree with. I'm sorry to intrude on your liberal lovefest, but it is the D&D forum, isn't it? It's not as if I hunt down all of your posts and mess with you. It does seem that you go out of your way to find my posts and brag about how smart you are and how I am not. (You wouldn't be the first person, so don't feel special.) Let me state again: I'm not in here just to "mess with people". I do enjoy reading the variety of opinions, even the wrong ones. <-------- please note the smiley face.
I have read through a lot of the posts but not all of them and i am just wondering. How do you think Americans would react if this same type of treatment was done to American soldiers? Would you defend it the same way? of course not cuase it is happening to you. I will agree some of the things they have done are far worse like the beheading etc. But i just figure that we are a country that is supposed to be showing example trying to fight for peace and everything yet we stoop that low to do things like that. I don't believe that stupids acts like that should be condoned and are part of war. I know in war people die. But these things didn't happen during war, they happened while they were captive and already either surrendered or got caught. Yes if this was on the battlefield, whatever happens happens but i just dont think they way they were treated was fair by any human standards.
Hey, quit trying to derail this back onto the subject. That's why there's two sets of rules - one for Americans and one for everybody else.
