Man, that looks gay. I mean really gay.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, but man...that looks gay.

why isn't this thread still a sticky.

We just got another uni thread and an admin had to take the time to lock it.

if you unstick it, they will come back.

what is up with this stick then unstick quickly philosophy. Just stick it, and keep it stuck, until it is over. I r e a l l y like stickies...they work. they prevent redundancy and lower bandwith. that is proven by many many other bbs on this vast internet thingie we have.

they lower bandwith and redundancy. that is why the feature exists.

sorry, I would have put this in the feedback, but I can't.

that silky fabric doesnt look too good with light.. it may feel good but it sure looks ugly IMO.thats unless its a dark dark color besides black (black silk looks gross on basketball uniforms).. dark blue is nice (golden state) .. but then again this is JMO

The only uni that silky material works for is the Orlando Magic uniform. I like how the stars are watermarked on that material.

I think that uni looks pretty damn nice. Those colors don't suck as much as their old ones while still fitting in well with the team, IMO.

I want ours to be just sliiightly noisier, though. I like noisy uniforms. That's why I was one of the very very few people who actually liked our current ones, but I support the new one just cuz a change is always cool once in a while. It's like getting a new car... but not as good.

I still want to see the navy blue burn in hell, but I want to see silver and red. We need TWO main colors showing on the uni, not just ONE like we're seeing on all these other new ones. They're all becoming too simple and wannabe-retro if you ask me.

Oh, also, I think you guys were a little too harsh on the new guy who dissed the Rockets organization. He was just expressing his "opinions" a little too bluntly. At least he didn't start bashing this site and it's administration.

The away jerseys are a little suspect, but I think the home jerseys look pretty damn good...

Hey Tim, being vp of marking for the rockets and comets, can't you give us any insight on when the uni's will be released or what they look like? You gotta know something more than the red and silver rumors floating around. Also, I agree with jdlee80 on releasing the uni's early. Do we really not make any profit off merchandise sales that don't go through a team store. It seems like the smart thing to do would be release the jerseys early, like cleveland and now denver. I guess their high draft picks allow them to market their jerseys. They have to be pulling in some sort of revenue off that. But with the new coach, new area, and hopefully favorable roster changes, the release of the new jerseys would spark a lot of excitement for the team heading into next season. As the caveman lawyer would say, "I may not know about your crazy ways of business, but one thing i do know is, its time to debut the new jerseys". If anything, releasing the uniforms will end all the uniform threads everyone is getting sick of, isnt that enough motivation?

Yes, Reebok is using a new fabric, and that's one of the delays. I can't say for sure that it's a fabric that's never been used before, but I do know it's never been used in our colors. So they have to make it.

As for a third jersey -- not in year one. League rules specify that you can't roll out a third jersey until a year after you launch a new uniform.

By third jersey, do you mean an alternate color like the lakers white uni's? I dont know if i missed an earlier post, but i dont really feel like exploring 5 pages. Also, this new material, are we gonna be the first team with it? Sounds sweet. Does the league doesnt require standard material for all the teams?

PS: You may want to just do it in this thread though as to not waste server space and risk being deleted by the Admin's...

    Hey Drummer,

There's nothing worse than some washed up computer geek who posts clip art instead of writing out a reply. Can't really think of anything good to say huh? Tell you what, instead of taking care of business and at least realesing the design to the public, you should stick to replying to the hundreds of complaints that this community has about your marketing group with someone else's drawing. That will get you the respect that your fat ass deserves! Do yourself a favor and cut down the number of posts you make everyday and take a shower. Aren't you tired of being Postolo's errand boy?

Took this from pootman00's closed thread.

I can tell you that they are not dark blue. Every indication I have heard is that they are DARK red. Even reports in the media have verified this. Unless they did a complete 180, which I seriously doubt, they uni's will be predominantly dark red.
