I'm trying to keep quiet, but I just have to say I'm having a blast reading this thread. There's some things that are pretty accurate, some things that are out of left field ... This begs the question: Will there be preorders for things such as hats, jerseys, and T's before the logo is unveiled? Or are we forced to wait?
I'd bet she'd have on "Calvin" Cato's jersey. Either she means to say his name like that, or she's just stupid...
Now the draft is over, did anyone see anything that's Rockets uniform/logo related on TV during the draft?
from ASIA: It's certainly not bad, compared to our current ones. But pretty plain and hyper-retro enough to be almost European. We'll do better.
I am not a fan of that Cav uniform, too typical. It was interesting to see a lot of the Euro jerseys on the highlights last night. I would expect to see something like that for the Rox. Number in the wrong place, stripes in the wrong place. No typical Name across the chest and number below for the Rox I bet.
It's piss poor that the new uniforms haven't been unvealed yet. Most "smart" teams release their new logos as soon as possible to maximize profits. Common knowledge I thought. Hopefully they will learn their lesson and stick to a simple and classy look. Red and Silver should be the new colors. No more terrible cartoons or designs. Just the City and team name is enough for crying out loud. Tell your boss to learn how to run his organization the right way. An entire city is counting on him.
Over in the thread that Jeff started about touring the Arena, they mentioned that you can probably catch the logo there in a few weeks, when the workers start putting them up all over there in July. So if anybody is ever able to get down there and take pics, there ya go.
