Magenta? Wasn't that a Spurs logo color along with teal a few years ago? I'd like to think crimson and platinum. Not some pretty-pretty princess pink and silver.
DCBaller, you intrigue me with your logo conspiracies! This must be some far out logo if we don't recognize it as the Houston Rockets. It must be really subtle. Also, are you currently in DC or from DC? I ask because I'm about to move there. I don't know what to do about watching the games.
get league pass. there is also the possibilty that DCBaller picked his name based on a certain basketball player from the DC area currently playing for a Texas squad, I won't name any names. DCBALLER FOR PRESIDENT 2004
Since my opinions on this dude have all be said by other members, I'll simply hope this dude get booted and banned from this site. Face the fact dude, this is such a good site for the Rox fans. By far, I haven't seen this well-developed fan site for a NBA team. AND, it's FREE!!!!!!!!
DC Baller.. i believe you.. now please just give us more hints or simply just draw out the logo.. i dont think i can wait.. i will be sure to be the first person to buy the jersey!! i know the rockets did a good job this time
if it's not too much... if you know what's going on.. could you say you're in marketing? production? design? oh whatever general term... to inform us on how far it's gone?
DCBaller, So, do you know anything about the Summer releases from the clothing line for those 3 ballers, what are their names? Also, while I got ya, can you tell us if that PhillyBaller is going to look good in the uni next year.
To elaborate more on what DC Baller has been saying, Keep a look out for the logo in the construction pics of the new arena. The logo is said to be plastered on the joint everywhere, Like the Texans have at Reliant. The seats are almost finished being installed and then the scoreboard will be lowered into place. The suites are also in the final stage of there "building out" phase. Finishing touches will also be made around this time. Keep a look out for these places and the Practice facility. You will more than likely see some pieces with the new logo floating around because they cant wait until Spetember to install all of the final touches bearing the Rockets new logo.
If this club is getting new uniforms, then either the higher ups in the franchise suck at planning because if the Cavs already have new logos and uni's, then Rocket's team bosses suck or are being really picky and uninformitive to the public about the inablity to chose or let the public chose. Shoot, we have to see them, it should be up to Harris County to decide what we have to watch when they lose, if they lose once this year. At least they'll look good losing.
In all honesty, I have a friend that works at the arena sales center downtown. Sometimes he is way off though. When he told me of this, I at first didnt believe him and thought he was on crack. That's why I didnt post it at first so anyone tell me I was stupid and I was lying..............thus blowing any creditability I had ever earned at this site away. But what he told me kinda matched up with what DC baller was saying. He gives me plenty of info on the arena. But I get most of my info from sportsbussinessdaily.com and sportsbussinessnews.com being that I am a subscriber to these sites. And finally, some of what I said is pretty much common sense. The arena will be ready to make its first event bookings in Spetember so it is impossible to make final touches then. I have learned from my "sources' ( that sounds so ****in ridiculous, I feel like freakin David Aldridge saying that crap) that the arena will have little Rocket and Comet logos plastered on the building as well as the corporate sponsor whom the building will bear its name for. (maybe HP or AT&T from what I hear). Most of the final touches to the building will be made in late-July and into August. If what DC baller is saying is true, you can more than likely expect to see some shots of it to pique the fans curosity. Remember, the Mavs did this same exact thing too a couple of years ago.
if you take what DCballer [wink, wink] said about the mlife campaign, and then you take what tigereye said about AT&T, are we perhaps getting a rrrreal strong indication of who the arena sponsor might end up being? maybe they could get Sam Cassell to be the spokesperson for the ad campaign, and the catch phrase could be: "Phone home."
Did you guys know that you can already buy the new Nuggets and Cavaliers jerseys? I hope They'll get our stuff out that quickly when they do unveil the logo.
