If you keep the uniform the same, you'll never sell any jerseys. Look at the bulls, they never change their uni's so of course you NEVER see any Jordan jerseys on the streets... What was I thinking?
Well not every team as the luxury of having the Best Player in NBA history on the team..... Jersey's in that case sell not becuase of the style but for the name on the back. Teams change their jersey's to get the ppl who buy for look or who arent as hardcore in which jersey they want to wear.
I've got a freaking brilliant 5 step idea!!!!: 1. Somebody go get your freaking digital camera. 2. Drive to wherever you saw the freaking logo. 3. Take a freaking picture of the logo. 4. Download the freaking photo on your computer. 5. Post the freaking picture of the freaking logo in this freaking thread before all HELL breaks loose. In all honesty, I would love to post this new logo RIGHT NOW. To think of the credibility and props this would give me on this board, I would do it in a heartbeat. But its not fair to those hwo put in the effort work and the time on this project. So far, everything has gone according to there plans. It wouldnt be right of me to "blow their suprise." I think the job of debuting the new logo to the BBS should belong to TIM and no one else. Its only fair. And if anyone doubts my credibility, think back........................I did tell you what to expect form the Cavs new look. I even told you where to find the Cavs new logo and uni's in around Feburary (NBA Street vol 2) even before they debuted there changes on April 16. I also told you what to expect form Denver correctly right down to the trim of the uni's. And Memphis's designs are not official either. They only submitted a "draft" of there plans. this is from the article posted earlier Key word (INITIAL)............... All teams go through a little back and forth revision process before the actual process and product are finished. There process should be finished in August maybe later but they will be paying close attention to the Rockets as everyone else around the league. And just to clarify, I did not say they WILL copy, I said I am worried they might because they too are looking for a contemporary and fresh design.
can u read? i said jerseys IN THAT CASE, not every single team has that kind of impact player so they have to change the image of the team to catalyze jersey sales or to recreate interest and support of the team, (like the nuggets) can someone else please chime in so it's just not me and this guy back and forth?
Chievous, it's funny, but you remind me of a lil kid who's just dying for attention. In the arena forum, I didn't see any news, just more teasing. If you know something, post it, otherwise keep it to yourself. We'll all see in time, and when we do, no one will care what you have to say. Quit trying so hard to create a name for yourself. i wouldnt slam him. I'm sure he knows what it is because unlike that other guy that simply said we would love the logo (phony) he has provided lots of hints that he could only do if they were correct. I mean, 3 sylobols along with the exact number of letters as well as "___ center" those arent vague clues that could be applied to everything, so i would take what he says as true and if in the coming weeks he ends up being wrong, THEN slam the crap out of him.
I'm not saying Chievous doesn't know the name, I'm sure he does... What I'm saying is to quit drawing the whole thing out and give up the name already... otherwise, keep it to yourself. And don't come to another forum and redirect people to your forum just so that you can get some attention.
What I don't understand is this marketing strategy. Look at this forum. These are die-hard, loyal rockets fans. We've stuck with this team through thick and thin, and now that there's a major change in the organization, the least you could do is give these great fans the pleasure of seeing the logo early. What's the harm in that? Reward your fans.
in the other forum someone guessed that it will be "toyota center" based on the clues given. it seems to make sense from a lot of angles, and at least chevious hasn't just dropped in with " i know what it is " and then gloated and acted superior like a lot of other posts. if you've got the inside scoop - props to you, but i think everyone agrees that it doesn't do any good to just show up and tell everyone else how much more you know.
even when they dont release the logo, you are still a fan. The more hype and interest the more impact it will make when they do in fact realese it.
But its not fair to flaunt it to alot of folks, then come on here where the Rocket fanatics look for insider scoop and just tease non-stop about how great it looks, how you would not even notice the logo unless you are paying attention? I mean what is that, just share what you saw... Get a digital pic while your at it!
Who cares about what is fair if you run a bussiness? no one. they CANT release it, but dont u feel better hearing that it looks good???? no need to worry about a repeat of the old carppy unis because u have these guys who CANT say anything telling you their openions.
