I did a Google search for "Rockets Suck" , and this thread came up among other things. Which further confirms the fact that the Rockets do suck. Along with this lame ass fourm. This site is full of jack asses like Legacy. Dont hold your breath for that winning streak. The Rockets have problems, and just because I call them out on it doesnt mean Im jumping on the bandwagon when they start winning. Ive been a Rockets fan for 20 years. I know we suck. We have talent and cant get a win, like the Cowboys. J. Hill looked good last night, but all that matters is we have 4 losses. The Rockets need a closer, AB is not the answer. My grandmother can jump higher than Scola, and Battier is a waste of court space. If you dont think the Rockets suck right now your fooling yourself. Quit wasting web space Legacy.
We have a lot of good players who can perform. Rick Adelman needs to really coach this team on who should take over in the 4th quarter. The Nets have a better record than us and we played well and swept them in preseason. The Rockets appear lost at the end of games, right now

A word of advice since you seem not to know any better - Clutch really, really, really hates it when posters "label" the board. State your opinion but don't say it is what everyone else feels. The fact that you are still posting tells me that he gave you a mulligan on this. Be thankful for that.
yeah but 94-95 teams dealt with a major reshuffle and then injuries that kept the two best players from playing together, they were a 55-60 win team that had only played a dozen games with both superstars on the court.
Generalizing is just as bad as panicking. Sometimes a good conversation on whats broken helps fix the weakness in the teams strategy. There will always be blind followers and then those who stop them from falling off the cliff making the same mistakes over and over again. Always.
It just takes time. In Adelman's first year as Rockets coach, the team started off hot (6-1), but that was mostly due to the JVG defense that carried over from the previous season. After that, they lost a bunch of games, including a six-game losing streak, and even Yao was expressing frustration at the new system. But they eventually found their groove and went on to win 55 games. I'm not saying that's what's going to happen this season, but this roster will be a lot better than what they've shown so far.
"true" fans of any team can watch and constructively criticize and be disappointed in the results. There is nothing wrong with the statement - "right now, the Rockets' are not playing well and the results (as well as some of the play) suck".
How much time to we really need to "gel"? The majority of the guys in our rotation have played with each other before.
There is a special breed of poster who feels the need to find something to b**** about after every game. Focus all thier energy on that object, blow it out of proportion, then do nothing but look for evidence that thier original assessment was right and bring it up at every opportunity whether it is appropriate or not. These kind of posters need to goooooo.
This is very true. You can almost expect these types of posters to come out when certain players or the team isn’t doing well. Hopefully, the Rox will get it together soon, and put those folks into hibernation.
Time to gel??? Not that many new pieces really. Adelman could play the same rotation as last year minus Ariza if he so choose. A 4-game skid IS cause for concern. It will be tough just to make the playoffs this year (like last). A 4-game skid essentially erases a 10-game win streak...when (and if) the Rockets rip off one of those the Rocket's Suck fans have a point.
That team lost in the 1st round... Just saying. (sigh...) I'm so tired of this line of thinking. Look, there are some adults here over the age of 15 who actually want to discuss and critique our favorite team without having to put up with a bunch of kiddies yelling at us and accusing us of not being "real fans" just because we don't blindly tow the company line after every loss. How boring would this place be if everyone just posted "YEAH, ROCKETS!!! 2011 CHAMPIONSHIP, BABY!!!!111" after every game? People are allowed to have different opinions on this site. That's kind of how most message boards work...
