No problem, I would ask the same to that realgm poster, because honestly sounds like something totally invented, like kill bill pana dixit. However seems true the interest in Draper -and other PGs-, as I said to replace Rodriguez, who seems out of the team for next season Of course he's not a John Stockton, but not less of a PG than Russell Westbrook. Actually there aren't too many diferences between his style of game and the one of Dragic. As he's saying at that quote he has played as PG during all his life excepting those 2 years with Ettore Messina. He's been formed and has grown as a PG. He knows the position. He's been named recently the best PG of the best european domestic league. He has 0 NBA potential as SG. I think should be enough.
The Rockets are about to get their backup point a great contract AGAIN. Why wouldn't a guy want to come to the Rockets and play backup point? I have no doubts that if we offer to bring Llull over he will come. I don't really see a lot of better options at backup point. Assuming one of Dragic or Lowry leaves we will have a spot, why not see what that pick is worth?
Game two of the Spanish semis already under way (8 minutes in): http://leton.tv/player.php?streampage=ttteledeporte&width=640&height=385 Madrid is down 0-1 in the series.
Madrid advanced to the Spanish League Finals yesterday, after beating Valencia 76-69 and 3-2 in the series. They'll be matched up in the Finals with Barcelona once more. Sounds like they are preparing the groundwork for him to come over. I like it. I would be excited to have Llull and Dragic as our point guards next season. This could be another sign that Lowry is on the way out. Llull Motiejunas 1 or 2 early draft picks Three or four possible high profile rookies and our team could look a lot different going into next season. I wonder if Llull will be on summer league roster? Llull DMo Patterson Parsons 2 early 1st round draft picks (Zeller & Ross maybe) I would be very interested in seeing how they play together.

Dragic, and Llull I like dat Euro 2some at pg even though I've never really seen Llull play. I just realized We have become very Raptor ish with all the influx of European players coming over.
Looks like the organisation is taking Dragic around and making him the "face of the franchise" to recruit Llull?
Madrid just lost 69-73 and 2-3 in the series to Barcelona in the Spanish League Finals. I missed most of the game, but looks like Llull was one of the few guys who showed up for Madrid. I'll put together a highlight mix in the next couple of days. The frame work is done already, but I'm still looking for some half-decent fast-paced music.
Llull is nothing special. Solid player, but he was 12th player on the spanish national team. About Spanish League Finals...the one who carried Barcelona to win and is doing that for last two years is Erazem Lorbek. With all due respect to Dragic, but he is the best Slovenian player and it's not even close. Taller and better version of Luis Scola, 6'11", 40% shooter beyond the arc, great midrange shooter and awesome footwork in the post. Also terrific passer and slightly better rebounder than Scola. We might see him in NBA next year. <iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/iGL9QhhoW7k" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Kevin Love is nothing special. He was the 12th man on the US national team. Seriously though, Llull was a 2nd round pick, so expecting him to be special might be a bit much. He is a NBA caliber player however and while he probably will be lucky to play around 15MPG in year one, I don't think it's a stretch to think he could end up being your 6th or 7th man, playing somewhere between 20-30 minutes. Lorbek indeed is the better player. In FIBA play. I like Lorbek a lot, but I'm not sure his game translates to the NBA quite as well as Dragic's. I do think Lorbek will be an impact player from day one and while I don't think he's the Spurs' missing piece he sure would make them a lot better if he were to come over.
The difference is that Kevin Love would be the best player in Europe.. EASILY You are comparing superior American talent, to the Euroleagues
