About a "tibial plateau fracture"...

    Yao's not coming back this season, that's what I feel. Six weeks was just something Jone pulled out from nowhere to appease the face to sell tickets. This kind of fracture injury and recovery it's really hard to set a timetable for return.

    we don't know the severity of the fracture. with no medical background behind me i assume there are different levels of non-displaced fractures. if this was a tiny crack perhaps 6 weeks is all he needs.

    the fact that they initially ruled it a bone bruise to me says that it might not be too severe, or atleast better than it could be.

    we can bring up all the research we want on this particular injury but it may not apply directly in this case.

    Maybe someone should notify Yao's trainer Anthony Falsone about this. Could it lead to a quicker recovery? How can we get in touch with him?

    Wouldn't hurt.
