One possible advantage of the layoff is the writers can figure out what worked and didn't work in the first 4 episodes and improve the 2nd part of the season.
I don't get it, why is ripping their fake human skin such a big deal? They're just lizards with costumes on, right?
I imagined it went deeper than just the Human Skin Rocket River Figuring Anna will have a nice pair of shoes next week
I was wondering about that myself. I actually think it is taking off the fake exterior. Spoiler Consider how Ryan, the V Rebel, acted when Georgie mentioned skinning a V to show the world what they really look like. The skin that they wear is more than just a mask since they can feel things like pain and pleasure through the human tissue. It seems to me like it is integrated into their nervous system and other biological systems. Skinning the human layer off of them might not kill them but is probably incredibly painful. Its use as a punishment might not be an execution but one that renders them unable to survive under Earth conditions. The show seems to be picking up but the plot is starting to feel forced.
I'm still watching, partly because I watched since the first episode and want to see where this is going. Not to say that I think this show is good or bad, but at the rate it's going I think I'm going to stop at this season. If this show does get any better, it will just spur the writers to come up with ways to keep it going longer than it should, without any real resolution to the original mystery/conflict. I kind of find it funny how Erica's son and exhusband are a little feminine and apparently wear makeup, while she goes underground to fight with the 3 machismo types. That new guy Dobbs reminds me of Sylvester Stallone.
I am watching it. It is interesting. So far it is not unsurprising but it is interesting . It is keeping my attentions Spoiler Did anyone doubt that Anna was going to kill her 'drone' at the end of the episode last week. That was a bit too obvious but fun to see Rocket River
not bad, but not great, but it is an interesting concept, so I will give it a while until I give up on it. A bit predictable with some cheesy lines
It's entertaining, since it is on after LOST now I will probably watch it live more often. I watched all 4 episodes last year on hulu. My theory is that Juliet's son (forgot his name) will be the key to the 5th column's eventual victory over the V's. Keep in mind, I have never seen the original series so I don't know how this will all play out. I am holding onto hope that V/Flashforward can at least replace LOST for me after this season.
Yeah I wasn't surprised at all. It's interesting but everything has played out very predictably. I'm enjoying it but wish they wouldn't use so much CGI the interiors of the V's ships, a few real sets would be nice.
I feel the same and I think that was the plan for both these shows (multiple actors from lost are in them). I am liking flashforward more at this point, it has more of a lost feel, although not nearly as good
Decent show. I enjoy it and think it is picking up. Only now did I realize that Anna is the girl who plays the hooker in Firefly/Serenity. Liked her much better with long hair.
Forreal As Anna the dark marks around her eyes is distracting and makes he look not as good on Firefly/Serenity . . .SHE WAS OFF THE CHARTS!! She was PHAT!! Pretty Hot And TEMPTING!! Rocket River
I am really trying hard to find a replacement for Lost and 24 after this season. I have seen every episode of V since it aired but it seems to get worse and worse every episode IMO. I think the main V leader is a pretty good actress but that is about it. The police officer former Juliet from Lost is hot but I don't think is not a good actress. I will probably give V another couple of episodes before calling it quits.
The thing that really sets apart this version with the old version to me is... WHERE ARE ALL THE FRICKIN GUN/LASER BATTLES? The show requires very little thinking at the moment and, with the action scenes pretty much MIA, it's more boring than watching a daytime soap opera. I hope it picks up soon.
