At least Obama acts like he gives a sh-t and acts presidential in a time of crisis. What does McCain do? He acts like a gigantic baby, using this as an opportunity to point the finger when he is the one who pulled the stunt and bragged about it.

Understand, but if 16 or so more dem voted yes this could be reversed also. All Obama did "presidential" was saying "steady, cautious". None of them were ready to throw their weight on the issue, none of them had a clear-cut language about the direction to go, none of them had any clue. Seriously, point me to one thing they did to solve the problem other than pointing the finger at the other guy!

That is, if you believe house republican's "revolt" is McCain's doing.

but its his to fix, the republicans are listening to their voters, there is nothing obama can do about that from his side other than try to get more votes out of house dems

You can't deny that he was aiming for a publicity stunt. Situation goes like.

Obama calls McCain about the Bailout.

McCain agrees with Obama about it and decides on a mutual announcement should they be required to vote and everything is finalized.

McCain makes public announcement on his own without consulting Obama about it, and says he's putting off the debate until there's a resolution.

McCain visits with tons of media outlets giving false credit to McCain and Obama like their impact on the matter is enormous.

McCain continues to threaten postponing the debate. Tries to postpone the VP "debate." Tries to goad Obama into suspending his campaign because he's getting hammered on polls.

McCain goes to the debate, only after causing this **** storm.

I'm not going to argue whether McCain showing up was the reason the bill wasn't passed. But you can't deny the fact that he made things worse by pulling his stunt. One says he's waiting on a phone call before heading to Washington, but is aware of what's going on. The other runs to the media for attention.

Then McCain has the nerve to blame Obama for this after he was the one that caused this media drama.
