ABC/ESPN to take over NBA rights?

    The problem with this is ABC isn't as willing to devot prime time to the NBA playoffs the way NBC has over the years. Sure, the could put it on ESPN but cable doesn't come close to reaching the number of people the big networks do.

    The NBA is stupid if they move it to ABC/ESPN. They already get coverage on ESPN so what's the point? Do you really think ESPN wants to lose their college games?

    I hope it stays on NBC and TNT.

    TNT extended their agreement, ABC/ESPN and NBC are still going at it though

    How about both ABC and NBC taking rights?

    Anything for more national NBA coverage...

    I'd like to see Kenny Charles and Ernie continue NBA coverage. Chris Berman won't cover the NBA - I've read that the NBA lost interst for him since Magic Johnson retired.

    I hope nobody picks up Hannah Storm's contract. She offers little more than Lisa Malosky in interviews.
