ABC is realizing there won't be many more chances to televise a Nuggets game, since we will soon be playing playoff games without them.
Refresh my memory. What was the first game we lost again that was supposed to be televised? And how many have we los this season?
As sad as that sounds, it's actually funny. ABC probably would drop a Rockets game for 4 or 5 episdoes of AMHV and say it would get the same ratings as one of our game.

I'm actually getting used to that song for whatever reason. I don't mind a whorey look I guess though they do play the song too much. They could give ol' Kenny Chesney, Big & Rich or someone like that a call but do we really want that?
Maybe AI/Melo vs. Gilbert just makes for a better commercial than T-Mac/Yao vs. Chris Paul. Also, why does this have to be about the Rockets? It seems to me more like ABC is dropping Hornets games from their schedule.
I personally think that they dropped the game b/c the hornets suck, and would rather televise a more competitive, close, and exciting game. There is a pretty good chance that the Rockets will blow out the Hornets.
What makes me mad is that if the rockets would have collapsed when Yao got injured and would be barely fighting for a playoff spot, I bet they would show the game. Then they would have a story line. Thats why they showed the Kings vs Nuggets last week, two loser teams and one of the will not make the playoffs. I guess we disappointed everybody. We remained solid, we will win 50 games, we have the best center in the world and one of the top 3 best swingmen in the League, along with the most liked player in the NBA (Shane) and even a big-time sometimes controversial coach, yet all of that is not good enough for ABC. I guess we are too old-fashioned, all we do is win games, nothing too spectacular.
it's regular season..and ppl wants to watch offense in regular season. They just want to relax a bit and wait for playoff games. Playoff games are made of intensity, defense, and elimination. That's when real basketball games come alive. It's a whole new dimension when the playoff comes. We just have to be patient and be ready to watch exciting basketball on national TV, instead of those relaxing ones. o one reason would also be the playoff push, since we are almost a lock at 5th, and they want to show teams battling for the 8th seeds.
Yeah they will regret it when we win it all this year. I believe this was the last remaining ABC Rockets game this season. So since this is gone, that means we get no ABC coverage this season at all. Wow.
