Watching an basketball player use a 48 inch vertical to dunk a basketball... watching a pitcher use his god-given arm to throw a ball 100mph... watching an athlete beat the record for fastest man alive... and watching a guy hold his breath underwater. Which achievement would you rather watch over 2 hours?
How do any of these benefit humanity? Thats what my point was...its all entertainment. However, holding your breath for that long requires incredible mental and physical capacity...just because it seems boring doesnt make it any less incredible.
blaine could've died doing his stunt and i still would've thought that japanese french magician is more entertaining.
BrightSide, is this it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lNK8TVfTO8&search=david blaine or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DcW1SvYuLc&search=david blaine ??
when did this become a thread comparing records? should only the most exciting record ever be the one we watch b/c all others would be less entertaining? as far as benefitting humanity, yeah give me the guy who cured polio, but all in all i'd rather watch kobayashi eat 53 dogs in 12 minutes.
He was pretending to be Sonic. There were air bubbles popping up from the floor and he breathed them in before the timer got to 0
Anyone else think KingCheetah should stand outside this little glass trap holding up a sign that says "UNLIKELY" ?
Last night I watched this korean movie about high school amateur hookers and I would definitely rather watch that kind of thing.
