The video alone is in an MMS: server that streams, doesn't send a file, through the Internet. http://beloint.wmod.llnwd.net/a125/o1/www.wfaa.com/041115_2000mnfopen_wz.wmv?MSWMExt=.asf is the direct link to the video. Be my guest at trying to find a program that saves it in your cache... I haven't been able to do that just yet.
I was able to download it (in WMV format) using a program called WM Recorder (http://www.wmrecorder.com). It records streaming Windows Media.
The Bible Belt isn't probably ready to see a naked white woman jump into a wealthy black man's arms. Heaven forbid if they are forced to join the 21st century.
Bible belt?? This was the NFL saying they wish this had not happened. They're the ones who called it inappropriate. I haven't heard comment from anyone but the NFL and ABC on this issue, so far.
my god, we're turning into a southpark episode. Well, as long as some building or structure is burning at the end, it proves we've learned our lesson.
So ABC is lying when they said they received complaints from viewers and the NFL. Edit: I guess it could be one big stupid publicity stunt
It was a pre-recorded wardrobe malfunction. The NFL had no idea it was going to happen, and would not stand for such inappropriate spoofing (after the complaints).
never said that. i said abc and the nfl are the only groups i known who've made public statemetns. i have no doubts that some viewers complained to abc. but the NFL, specifically, said they were inappropriate and unsuitable.
did the NFL receive complaints?? my understanding is ABC received complaints from viewers...but the NFL had gone on record before ABC communicated that. i also understand that the Eagles said they wished they would not have aired that. i'm not arguing the merits of this thing...i was correcting what was posted by Saint Louis. i didn't even see it. i'd rather they not show that kind of stuff as a lead-in to MNF, however.
I'm guessing the only reason the NFL made their displeasure known was because they knew people would be offended and would complain to ABC. It's a complete joke, if you ask me. This whole country's becoming one.
I've personally seen more skin on the networks when the women were wearing clothes. I just have to laugh at how easy it is to upset some people in this country.
With sex. I have a rant in mind, but that'd send this to the D&D which I can't even view, much less post in. So, I'll save it. All I know is that there's a good chance I won't be living here in the next few years. My fiancee' and I have already discussed and looked into moving out of this country. The only thing holding us back is her mother who's fighting cancer.
Do they still air the Herbal Essences commercials with some lady enjoying her shampoo a little too much?
Did anyone complain about the Dallas Cowgirl Cheerleaders? What are they around for other then to look at? Oh wait, they are there to "cheer" on the team.
Exactly. After every timeout, the networks come back with scantily-clad women jumping up and down on the sidelines. This is normally right after the 80th "And Twins" Coors Light commercial featuring former NFL players and freaking trying to turn guys on by thoughts of incest.
