Sounds like a tough interview. Glad to see the Texans are evaluating multiple candidates, talking to different people about personnel changes and defensive philosophies, what it would take to fix the defense, etc.

I want to see them do well, and got my hopes up after the first 2 weeks. After week 2 we saw game in and game out the same thing we saw the last few years. The only difference was how incredibly bad the defense was. Coach not knowing the situation before making a playcall?? Unacceptable! Only 5 carries for the leagues leading rusher in the 2nd half of a game you lead for almost all of it? Unacceptable. Continually passing when you can't pass protect against a team you are having success running against and ran all up and down on in week one?? Inconceivable!

Personally, I always thought that the defensive coordinator should be offensive minded and that the head coach should be a special teams kind of guy. I think in the last game even Kubiak learned the best thing he can do is just give it to Foster...Look for Foster to average 29 carries a game for 2320 yards next season as we finally make the playoffs...

This really ticks me off. The rumors came out that Wade Phillips would be hired early last week. Bum Phillips publicly endorses Kubiak, which seems staged. Kubiak yesterday says that he hasnt talked to Wade but he'd be flexible to change defensive scheme, this is clearly a lie. Look I dont care what Bob does, that dude is the boss, but why go around treating people like they are stupid. Why not just say, "hey we're going with wade, like it or not". Report comes out that wade is hired. We are not idiots Bob. We knew this was coming, just have the b@lls to sit up there and tell it like it is. The Wade thing was setup since early last week. Its your team, you own it, you brought it here, just dont treat houston fan like they are idiots. Its one thing to have the most loyal fan base in the league, dont piss all over it with your lies.
