Maxwell quit during the playoffs. How are Aaron's actions worse than that?

If you widen your net a little bit to include faking an injury because you don't like your contract, you can have Hakeem at center.

    Just saying...

Vernon Maxwell is being labeled a quitter among the likes of Tmac and Brooks and you're spending all your time here obsessing over McGrady? Guess you're not a real rockets fan as you say you are...

    What?

    "Labeled" a quitter?

    http://www.nytimes.com/1995/07/13/s...etball-rockets-confirm-maxwell-s-release.html

VERNON MAXWELL gave up on the Houston Rockets, and now the two-time defending champions have given up on him.

The Rockets confirmed yesterday they waived the mercurial Maxwell, also known as Mad Max, on June 30, the day before the National Basketball Association lockout of players halted any club-player dealings.

The move came two months after Maxwell, citing a hamstring injury, quit the team after the first game of the Western Conference playoff series against Utah. Maxwell has a year left on his contract and the Rockets are obligated to pay him $1.8 million because he was unclaimed from waivers. (AP)

Lol that was actually just bait for another fish. I mistakenly went fishing in the wrong bond and the wrong fish took the bait.

there should be a qualification of quitters.

Aaron Brooks belongs to the tier that actually has won a playoff series for the Rockets.

I know Pippen and Tmac share the distinct notion of the highest paid Rockets players to have never won a playoff series.

If Aaron Brooks or Maxwell got their salary, they would sell popcorn in the stands and well valet park cars if asked.

At least they know who Maxwell is. I was losing faith in the overall knowledge of the Clutch City around here.

And then Maxwell would get ejected by security after punching out fans who don't have correct change, and Brooks would storm out after not being allowed to park cars in the 4th period.

V-Span didn't quit. How could he quit when he couldn't even play.

Not only would Maxwell do that, but he would clamp down defensively on their best guard and drop 30 points in the 4th quarter

    ..on 15-56 shooting.

He could make time stand still matrix style while boosting his FGA's.
