Well Boki and Lue are both relatively young, plus they're both expiring contracts. Sounds like the Nets would be interested in this proposal. Hope the Rockets are keeping their eyes open on stuff like this...
I like PJ Brown. If we did that deal we would then have.... PJ Brown (2 more years at 8M) Mo Taylor (2 more years at 9M+) Juwan Howard (4 more years at 5.9M+) That's a lot of money tied up into our PFs! But in 2 more years we would have BOTH Brown's and Taylor's contracts off the books. What kind of season is PJ Brown having? It seems he has slow down a lot recently. Turning Spoon and Lue into PJ Brown would be a good talent move nonetheless. We would just be taking on more salary for a few more years. Whatever the case, it would improve the TALENT base of this team and that is what we need to do.
He is making 3.1M this year. He has a player option for next season at 3.3M. I would say he is a good value role player at those numbers.
