He is pretty good at the "instant offense off the bench" role. When the offense is bogged down, call his number. Did IME played him at all during last year playoff? I can't recall.
Yeah, Holiday is not a plus defender. He's okay for his size, not totally inept. Him and Reed playing together is risky on the defensive side. Ime did play that double small double big lineup some and it kind worked for short stretches.
Not a plus, but for small guards, he's one of the better defenders. FVV, Davion Mitchell, and maybe Alvarado (he's more like Reed in that's he's disruptive) are better.

Calling Jrue a plus defender is almost an insult to Jrue. Jrue in his prime was the best perimeter defender in the league for years.
