Offended Chinese people, bring your beef to the hangout or something! This thread is for acknowledging the baller-ness of Aaron Brooks.

So why make it race issue. Chinese people are just as knowledgeable in basketball as any other person on Earth.

No one is playing the race card here, but someone is playing racism.

His passes to Chuck were pretty creative, I thought. Brooks was blowing by Williams at will, and when Boozer/Millsap stepped up to help, AB would throw a bounce pass around them. I thought it was interesting because he wasn't throwing it at Hayes directly; it was more towards his right arm most of the time. A pass like that needs the receiver to know when it's coming. It's great to see chemistry like that work on the court in an intense game like that.

Hmm that's new. Just because we want Yao to play well and we do curse a bit when Yao got his man pinned but not getting the ball ( tell me you neva done that last year?) so we are playing the race card??!!
    You are delusional, sir.

It's not a big deal but they knocked Brooks with Taylor's turnover in the final minute of the game last night. Brooks should have only had 2 TOs.

Still had 19 and 9 though. Brooks is going to be giving opposing PG's headaches every single night

this overrating of ab continues. i am amazed.

it was when lowry running the point that we blew the game open in the 4th last night. ab wasn't in for most of the 4th until the game was pretty much decided. strange how those w/ and w/o ab analysis has disappeared.

i like ab, honestly. and ab has shown some improvement in the 4 games this year so far. but you know he's overrated by many when you see comments like he's better than rose.

in my trading world, you'd know it is time to sell apple stock after it hit an all-time high (and buy it back at a more attractive price). not a perfect analogy, but hope y'all get the grip.

The game got blew open when the Jazz were lost without DWill. Went from 2-4 pt range to a 12 pt deficit when Sloan had to call timeout. That for me was the biggest thing that was "different" than the previous 38+ minutes of the game. Also, Rose had a great series against Boston, but I think you could have made a better choice to show the blasphemy of saying Brooks is better than XXXXX.

As big a fan and "non-hater" of Brooks as I was last year, I am even more impressed with his passing ability this year. Some of the passes he has made this season I never expected to see out of number zero. I figured he would get most of his assists off of pick and pop jumpers. Not really the case this year. Chuck Hayes thinks Brooks is the old T-Mac!

He is playing like an allstar right now.

I read from SamFisher and others that the board overrates AB which still might be true, but it's hard to argue that AB isn't balling out of his mind right now.

I would argue that they severly underate our players.

Who was running the point in Portland? Was Lowry solely responsible for the Rockets surge? Just because he was in there for the deciding run doesn't mean that he's the better point guard. As I recall, Brooks had a few runs himself last year against better teams (Boston). Brooks is playing like an all-star plain and simple, and there's really nothing else to say about it.

Rafer Alston's value is at an all-time low, so you are saying we should trade Brooks for Alston?

Are you sure? The chinese play by play analysts sure don't show it.

Rose has a high ceiling but have you even been watching him play? He's not an allstar like people claim him to be, AB is better than him at this point. I love lowry but if anybody is being overrated by the fans its him. Quite an ignorant post, I know you are a true rockets fan but you were a rafer nut hugger at the time also.

I am not refuting your point, if we can get something of better value in return for brooks, if it makes the team better, than yes.

But choosing to remain ignorant in this manner is repulsive. Give credit where it is due, saying lowry was the reason we won?!? That is ludicrous. Even you should realize that/.

Oh and when you said it was Lowry that blew the game away in the 4th, that is where you are taking the entire thing out of context. The rockets were IN CONTROL pretty much the whole game with the exception of the end of the 2nd qrtr when we were down by 3. They had a lead, and believe me, it was b.c of brooks. Lowry comes off the bench, its his job to build upon the lead. Saying he caused it is a downright manipulation of the entire picture.
