So if Brooks can't get hot, NOBODY around him can get hot? Doesn't seem fair to me.

Yet this thread was no where to be found when AB was knocking them down.

If Brooks can get him open on 3 point line, shoot it. There is no such thing called too many 3s as long as he makes them at a good percentage.

No Ryan Bowen shouldn't take all the shots because it's a tiny sample size. If someone shot 100 shots and made all 100 in a few nba games, then YES they should take ALL the shots on ANY team. Getting 5 players who average 25 points would mean they'll average 125. They would sometimes score way over 125 as well as times below it. And the "open shot" thing is true for any shot-players shoot better when open. It's a non-unique argument against Brooks shooting 3s.

you should also start the "chuck hayes doesn't shoot enough!" thread. i mean centers are supposed to get easy layups and dunks right?

brooks is a shooter, let him shoot. every player has off nights. and when he can pass he does pass. agreed he doesn't create shots for others but when the pass is there he makes it, he doesn't ball hog like AI used to. Next year with yao in the post imma expect brooks/martin to make a lot of 3s. yao will take away a lot of defensive pressure off the backcourt imo. which all goes back to the trade. it was for next year not this year.
dont bash a player for one bad night, brooks is a very solid producing guard hes been dropping 20 on a regular basis BECAUSE of his 3pts, i will love to see you re-post on a regular basis instead of after one night
    just my 2 cents.

    Dude.. Obviously that's different..
Shooting 100% off of one field goal is different than shooting 40% off of 150+ threes. C'mon man.

yea because 40% of 150 3s is equal to 180 points...

Yea I wish he would realize if he is not hot then he needs to try harder to get other people involved. I think Bud definitely deserves more touches. But usually if Brooks is off, all we do is put Lowry in and he picks up the pace.

I agree 12 is WAY too many, but he shoots 40%. thats pretty good, and if you remember last game, the guy DIDN'T MISS. It was crazy, you have good ones, and bad ones.

Another thing, since he is shooting 6 3s at a good %, he is leading the league in made 3s so far. Which is pretty damn good.

Given the way the team is playing right now, at this point AB is probably allowed to do whatever the F he wants. But I agree...sorta, sometimes his timing for shooting the three is bad to me.

I don't have any numbers, but I noticed that he doesn't take the heatcheck 3 much. I hear Drexler talk about heatchecks with Brooks alot, but it's usually just after a missed 3. A missed 3 is not a heatcheck. One of our plays is Brooks behind a big's screen for an uncontested 3. For a guy shooting near 40% on 3s, that's not a bad option. If nobody is moving it means the interior is clogged, so an open 3 is better then trying to force it inside.
