Aaron Brooks says he's back with the Rockets!

It's crazy to know that Brooks will be the 2nd oldest on team (Behind Garcia, front of Howard).

 

This is no 50/50 bet. AB is not washed up, he has just been stuck in Phoenix and Sacramento since leaving the Rockets in 09'. He's one of those guys you love to have in the playoffs who can provide a spark off the bench.

What's mind boggling is you don't believe in the one they call Maury.

Thank you I agree. I thought he played very well and hit some very clutch shots against the thunder for not playing in the NBA for so long.

A lot of people on here are talking like AB is horrible. He will get the backup to Lin if Lin stays. Beverly is every bit as explosive but AB has the experience with HOU as well as a better shot. Sorry but Brooks is a better shot then Bev or Lin. I doubt seriously AB is gonna be the 3rd guard off the bench!!

 

Furthermore he is only 28 so should be in the prime of his career. Very good signing for the minimum

 

Sure, people always dump their starters once they sign a 3rd string vet minimum guy....I'm no Lin fan, but some of you guys are absolutely crazy.

 

AB can still shoot the ball. We are loading up on guys that can shoot it. AB, R Williams, Canaan, even Omri had his moments in the past. Surrounding Howard and Harden with shooters. Should be plenty of floor spacing.

We won't be like the Grizz and not be able to score on teams that pack the paint to stop Howard and slow Harden's drives. Pack the paint on us and we will rain 3's all day long. Let them battle it out in training camp. Can never have enough shooters on the floor.

I'm an AB fan, but I also like Beverley. I won't rule out Lin either. I trust this will all work itself out in training camp. Honestly I expect Brooks to be a utility guard.
