Wow in the 2nd half...without Rafer we looked lost! He is a huge key to our success!

It was our first game with the full starting lineup playing together, relax. Yes, I do hope to see him return soon, but the rust will wear off soon with a few games and some more full team practice.

Rafer did hit a clutch three. That was nice.

I don't think Barry can give much as a 1,but he would be better there than Head. Head should only shoot and try to do the best he can on defense.

played 35 minutes and 6 bricks.

if that's not great, try 35 minutes, 12 bricks.

Barry needs to learn not to pass to Hayes on the run. What was up with that no look pass to Hayes that resulted into a turnover.

I YELLED that exact same thing as it happened. Freaked my friends out. My Rockets obsession is out of control, or so I was told after the game.

    What losers.

It wasn't so much Luther. The lineup that was in there just had no way to reliably create offense.

Luther, Barry, Artest, Landy, and Hayes (I think that's who was in)? Artest should have been dominating the ball during that time.

You guys are right though. Brooks is needed pretty bad. We'll be alright though.

The reason he hit a clutch three, its because he miss the earlier shots that could have blown this game away.

True, but give credit where its due. It takes alot of balls to make a big shot like that when you struggled shooting all night long.

I wouldn't go and place all our hopes on our undersized (but speedy) 2nd year PG that showed some promise in pre-season, but hasn't proven himself yet. I think he'll help, but mainly in giving Alston rest (so he won't look so completely useless and might actually hit a shot every once in a while) and (much more importantly) keeping Head off the floor as our fill in PG. I swear, how many years has Head been our fill-in PG and still can't freaking learn not to pass to a player where the ball isn't delivered at the player's feet

The good news is last night they said that Brooks was activated, so hopefully his return isn't too far away.

I found some news that just came out on Aaron Brooks. I can't create a new thread because I'm not a member, so I posted it here.

So we are looking at the possibility of him coming back most likely after the Dallas game and he's having his contract extended. Good Deal

Agree 100%. Not sure how some of these posters in here can't see what the difference was between Alston and Head last night. Head CANNOT run the offense if his life depended on it. That's why he gets so much grief. He just needs to stand behind the 3 line and fire away and play some D on the other end. Nothing more, nothing less.
