I disagree, I think Lee or Williams should be on him...they're quick enough..: They could put Ish on him... And Ish could stay with him, but ishs' height would still make it easy for Mills to get his shot off.

how long does this ankle take to heal? people have come back from amputations faster than this guy.

I'll go along with this except I would run Williams at point, Lee at the 2, and Bud at the 3.

put Lee at backup PG, use Bud at back up SG, and FINALLY let Williams get out on the court. i mean God forbid we see what this kid has. I think Adelman thinks he is coaching a team that is 25-5 not 16-18. lets see what all our assets can do.

The type of sprain he had never completely heals because of the tendons involved... If he would have fractured it, the bone would completely heal faster than tendons from a level 2 or 3 ankle sprain.

He's still feeling it, trust me... Then even after he feels better he's still not back mentally because you're trying not to hurt it again. It's very easy to tweak an ankle that's been sprained as bad as his was.

well hopefully he gets back to 100% soon. we need this guy in the lineup or on the trade market...both scenarios require good health.

Well as far as trading, ankle sprains are very common... And his play because of his ankle sprain is very understandable. I don't think his value has declined because of it.

*basketballminds* know his speed and quickness will get back to normal

I have a question for everybody, who is more important to the team AB or Chuck Hayes?

    Chuck.

We have ppl that can defend Andre Miller and Pat Mills. But we dont match up well with Aldridge with what we've got on our roster right now.

    The truth ^^^

I sprained my ankle in 7th grade and it never completely healed. I can only imagine how bad a sprain can be for a grown man who doesn't have the super recuperative powers of a pre-teen.

yea i do numerous athletic activities, and do them all well. i guess i am just a bit stronger than the pros. i have had nasty ankle sprains, stress fractures, etc. i jsut see this being a long ass recovery. it has been two months +

i just dont see how chuck can be more important. i mean yea we have stunk with him down but answer this HONESTLY - would chuck hayes be starting for ANY OTHER NBA team at Center? absolutley not. this is not a knock on chuck. i love him. he is like a college player but he is a hussler not a pure talent. he gets by with his energy and hussle. i strongly doubt he is a starter for any other franchise but the rox. he is a nice role player. Brooks has the talents to be a top 10-15 PG if healthy and determined. Does Hayes have the potential to be a top 10-15 center or PF?

I guess it is impossible that AB's injury is more severe than any ankle sprain that you've ever had.
I guess it is impossible that AB was mostly healed and then re-aggravated the ankle as he attempted to comeback.
I guess it is impossible that it can take one person longer to recover from an injury than another.
I guess it is impossible that AB needs it to be at 100% to cut like he is used to against the best competition in the world, compared to whatever level of talent you play your "numerous athletic activities" against.

Yeah, you're right. AB is taking way too long to recover from this.

It depends, if ur not trying 2 win a ring in the next few years and ur tanking for assets that won't pan out, then so be it. But Brooks is our best performer in the playoffs (when it matters) and without him the Rockets would've never made the 2nd round.
