Don't worry, I'm sure there's plenty of other ways to turn this accomplishment into a negative. Take another crack at it.

The same that was possibly the worst color (black, white, or any other) man in the history of broadcasting. I have no doubt that Hardaway wasn't even interviewed before accepting his short lived commentary position. He was embarrassingly and unequivocally uneducated, unprepared, unfocused, and underqualified.

Yeah I know of all of them which is saying a lot considering 98% of my NBA watching is Rockets vs. _________. Except John Starks

All of those guys had pretty productive NBA careers. Mookie didn't get much press because he played in Atlanta, but he was very solid for many years. John Starks was the point guard on a Knicks team that went to the finals - and he was one of their best players. Tim Hardaway was fantastic when healthy. Gilbert Arenas was always near the top of the league in scoring before his injury/legal troubles. And even Antoine Walker was on multiple All-Star teams.

I'm not denying the accomplishment, its a great list to be a part of. I was just worried about the correlation between those guys and winning a championship. If none of those guys had won a championship, I would be worried. But if someone as washed up as Antoine Walker can do it, then AB can too.

Yes, all of these were good players but most of them have had some issues and all I was trying to say was I hope ABs career turns out more prosperous than the bankrupt Antoine Walker and the dumbs*** Gilbert Arenas...AB has a chance to be a very solid Gilbert Arenas esque player if he stays healthy and hungry, all we can do is hope he puts up some more 200 three 400 assist seasons in the years to come and watch the Rockets return to some glory because they are definitely do..

AB is humble, and probably the furthest person on the opposite spectrum to those two.

I think he was referring to the fact that most of the guys were great players who weren't lucky in the championships. Or, at least thats what I think he was referring to.

I would think more people would be worried about the correlation of the so-called "elite point guards" and a championship; you know, the Chris Pauls, Steve Nashes, John Stocktons, Deron Williams ... those type of guys. The types of guys people like to say AB doesn't come close to. I for one am glad he's not like those guys, b/c they don't win big.

For John Stockton, it was just karma for the Jazz playing dirty. Chris Paul, Steve Nash, and D. Williams still have time to win a championship, just like AB does.
