Damn, they keep coming at you like a swarm of bees DaDakota.

I have to say I’m with knote32 there. If I could, I bet I can dig something of you burning Lowry for being out of shape (mainly due to his injury problems) and saying he is a career backup (I don’t know if you are ready to admit otherwise yet)

Anyways, you are right about AB deserving as good a chance as Lowry.

Nah, I can take it...Lowry was fat in the summer, his out of shape had a little to do with his back, and a lot to do with his belly.

    Glad he is back though......

And this is nothing new, people follow me around like lost puppies...they want to be me....what can I say?

    ;)

Me saying Brooks might have been high was a reference to the humorous interview he gave prior to the Portland game. Anyone that watched it knows what I am talking about.

Considering he's in a contract year that doesn't make sense. I think part of his struggles are mental (he still has the speed to blow by his defender when he tries, and there's no excuse for not hustling, Martin looks more winded than Brooks most of the time), but I doubt it's a conscious effort to play badly.

No, he wasn't. Stop making stuff up. All the reports we heard this summer were about how hard Lowry was working out. The only reason he was out-of-shape is because of the injury he suffered in training camp.

Sorry LTF, it is the truth, Rick Adelman and Morey both commented in the Chronicle that Lowry was out of shape.....

I think that was LTF's point? Not practicing due to the injury got him out of shape?

He was out of shape BEFORE getting the injury, and the injury made it even worse and longer that he got into shape.

He is noticably thinner now that when he reported to camp.....

No, I did not literally think he was under the influence of mar1juana.

But I'm not going to go as far as you and give AB a pass by saying his struggles are purely injury-related. I think he has been mentally checked out of these last few games, quite possibly due to frustration over his lack of explosion/quickness.

What injury are you referring to? The one during the regular season, or the one in training camp before the preseason started?

Training camp....when he hurt his back.

See that is reasonable, I don't think he is checked out, I just think he is scared that his ankle will blow up.....and is not confident in it yet.

He is shooting WAY too many jumpers....and no midrange stop and pops which are his bread and butter....because he can't STOP on that ankle yet.

How do you know he was out of shape before that point? Were there pictures or video or any reporting to that effect?

Yes, if you watched the preseason games it is really obvious....before the injury, he was sporting a Lowry belly...

At least that is what some of us noticed back then, and talked in a thread about it....

Then people were like...nUH UH !! Then DM and RA said he was out of shape....so.....whatever....believe it or not

Lowry was a pest out there tonight. The noticeable difference in intensity when AB replaces Lowry is quite worrisome.

Preseason games came after the training camp injury. You said he was out of shape before the injury. Am I missing something?
