I would but only for a short cheap contract. I hope that the offense will be running through Royce White so I could see Brooks out on the wing hitting shots or driving with a quick dish from White...

I would welcome the old explosive AB on offense however he's still a liability on defense. Pass.

Always thought he was a great player. All the hearsay doesn't mean jack to me when I saw him play his heart out when it mattered. Guy should get nothing but respect for helping rockets get their first playoff series win in 10 plus years and taking it to the lakers for 7 games.

I don't get the Aaron Brooks hate...

He played very well for us in his time here and only became dissatisfied after getting injured (manu scumbag move) following his career year and losing the starting job to Lowry.

I think we all remember the 09 playoffs and just how much AB contributed.

I'm not in love with the idea of bringing AB back, but, his body isn't trash like Steve Francis' was.

I've heard and read nothing but hate about bringing Aaron Brooks in so I gave my point as an Aaron Brooks fan. Not a fan of the Rockets but a fan of Brooks.

I think I'll be okay with it, because I can't see Brooks getting a lot.

How is he useless if shots aren't falling? He is a proven 4th quarter player, can create for teammates, penetrates very well, and leads the break. Just curious..

He was taking the charge like battier probably taught him. In the NBA that would have been called.

Not a fan of his overdribbling, poor court vision, and bad defense.

That said, for a cheap contract he provides some good scoring.

If he's brought back, is that a good enough excuse for me to revisit Chairman Morey?

    OK, probably not.

I loved A.B., very disappointed to see him leave. It would be great to have him back, and while they are at it bring back Hayes and Landry. They were all meant to be Rockets.

Royce White is one player I can't wait to watch. If he can come in and produce I bet they give him minutes. AB could contriubte immediatly to leading the fast break. You can't coach speed.

I just hope he doesn't take too many shots away from our younger guys who could use taking more shots to boost their confidence.

God I was so happy that the Rockets traded his butt for Goran Dragic and the Rockets had two strong PGs... Now we don't have any so we have to go call an old PG back. This sucks. We might as well call Steve Francis back too and Rafer Alston.

Good point. He did take a ton of shots. But we're real thin at PG and SG.
