We already knew that. Harden did sacrifice for Rus

it would be funny if teams just started ignoring Russ to load up on or double team Beal

The truth hurts. We paid multiple draft picks and CP3 to get a guy that didn’t help Harden, forced us to trade our center, and actively killed Eric Gordon’s game.

The writer of the article does know that Morey is now in the East right?

It was all murder. CP3 had a better market value than Westbrook just a year later. Horrific. My hope is that Harden is here through when those picks come up so it doesn’t sting so much when they go to OKC.

Westbrook is not wining basketball. The guy has no IQ, plays out of control with a comically bad shot. Good luck Beal

in that case, we got a pick and it’s a last ditch effort to keep Harden, so I’m ok with it.

the Westbrook trade was one of the worst of all time. Somewhere behind the Nets trades that crippled their franchise for a decade.

beal is gone in a year. There’s no way to salvage what Washington has done.

with Wall, there was at least a chance to salvage something there.

Westbrook’s game is 100% athleticism, and it requires that he has the ball in his hands. Beal just proved that he’s one of the elite scorers in the game, and now he will have the ball less.

Were they? We gave up two picks and got one back from WAS. The other two are pick swaps, have you looked at okc roster? They are tanking, those swaps are worthless. Net net may just be lost one pick.

Westbrook was top 5 in Usage here and he was not happy. So I imagine he wants to be number 1 in DC . Poor Beal will only see the ball in his dreams

One pick and Chris Paul is better then Westbrook. Having said that without Wall here noway cousins signs so if both those guys stay healthy Cousins and Wall might be the net result of the Paul trade. That could be huge

We're in a better place right now than if we kept CP3. CP3 and Harden didn't get along and it showed on the court. That poor chemistry dropped CP's value. He regained it in OKC by leading a team to the playoffs and then tuckering out yet again. Those picks that we traded away.. well now we have one extra and a center who can shoot the 3 instead of just dunk. We got younger, we have two outside health chances that if they pan out give us a true Big Three (something coveted around the history of the league).

We now have a coach that is a rookie which means no one knows his tendencies yet (think unpredictable) and a GM who can wash away that Morey underperforming style we've had to watch for 12 years now because everyone knew they were just an asset until trading season came to a close. This means more potential for chemistry this year.

This is not a sky is falling situation, but there are a lot of Chicken Littles up in here. We're just fine. Let's just do what we do every year: pray for health.

    This is an understatement.

Morey traded away Clint, the person, who made Harden unstoppable to make Russ comfortable. Harden is so good, everyone hoped/knew he would still be effective. The whole team was revamped on the fly to make Russ feel comfortable and still he bounced. smh.
