I always get shh'ed by people around me. I am always looked at by people who turn around to see who the idiot is.

This is the way I am. I am a heckler to the opposing team and a HUGE cheerer for the home team. I do this for any HOuston team.

Now that we are playing Dallas?! IT"S ON BABY! Even if it's my tv and roomates that hear me screaming. :p

Wish I was there. I am in Troy, NY. Just my girlfriend and I rooting for Rockets at the student union at RPI. I will even be wearing my Tmac jersey to let everyone know which side I am on. I am guessing some others will also root for Rockets because of JVG and Knicks connection.

Some of you guys should heckle the prudes.
"Give your tickets to real fans, bandwagoners!"
"You gotta be dead not to an enjoy a game like this. Dead in your hearts!!"

Sheesh, half of the price of admission is being allowed to make an ass out of yourself for 3 hours.

LOL! You guys are crazy, but we will need this passion at the TC if we have a prayer of beating the Mavs.

Everyone should be allowed to cheer as loud/hard as they can, the bottom line is "keep it clean", no cussing because that IS disrespectful to the other people around you (especially the kids).

Ironically, I think the Mavs' fans at the AA Arena are a good example of how rowdy the TC should be.

I, too, have been the recipient of these glares you speak of, therefore, I support you in all of your obnoxious devotion.

last season a friend of mine and i snuck into the lower level to sit(my friend new an usher), and i was into the game as i usually am, yelling, heckling the other team, screaming for defense and the whatnot(no cursing). after the game ended, some loser who was sitting way in front of me threw a quarter at me(and hit me in the head) as he walked out, the security nabbed the punk and he said i was yelling in his ear the whole game(i wasn't sitting anywhere near him). that typifies the regular season fans of the rockets, but houston sports fans are a completely different beast come the post season, anyone who was at any of the astros' playoff games last year can tell you.

That's solid. I get yelled at to "settle down" or "shut up" often...but that's when I go see the Rockets in other teams' arenas. hahaha, it's even better when you're ridiculously loud and rowdy (i.e. "Let's Go Rockets" 1-man-chants) and no one else is talking cause they're being quiet for their team to operate.

Since I can't be there, I hope everyone loses their voice in the 1st Q of every game, and then screams through it for the next 2 hours. Let me hear ya on TV!

Rocket G, me and the wife are right there with you. We scream ourselves hoarse everytime we go to a game, except I don't say I'm sorry.

Section 126 row F seats 7 and 8 contain some loud mother******* when we are in town!

See you all at the first playoff game!

I'm going off too, I know what you mean by the country club atmosphere. It pisses me off. It's a bunch of ultra-conservatives, who need to stay home and watch C-Span, are going to the games. I say screw them, actually you should probably yell at them for not getting loud. I'm going to have tunnel vision at these games, not concerned with anything around me. By the way, if we're bragging about chants, I started that minor Kobe chant last year, "No means No." Just our section but it was heard on the ESPN replay.

Is there anyway to bring a megaphone into the game? I haven't found one yet, but I think it could be very helpful. It doesn't evenhave to be an electronic one,

Sometimes I feel bad for the infants whose parents naively brought them to the game. But mostly I believe crying babies make awesome crowd noise.
