I'm with TheFreak. We need as much frontcourt depth as we can get, and Jamie Feick is a very capable backup. I'm not sure if they would considering dealing him solo; he might be used to juice up a Kittles trade. ------------------ "Be like Dr. J, be like Dr. J..." - Shaq during NBC interview.
Mmm...Corey Maggette would also help our 3 position. Let's buy him from the Magic with our 4.5! Put him in Rockets pajamas ASAP! KVH=high price, no defense. I wouldn't mind him, but I would spend an arm and a leg on him. ------------------ Rockets fans wanted at hoopsboards.com Draft Chat, NBA Chat, Team Chat, and more!
Here is an update to yesterday's scoop: 06/08-NETS PICK WILL COST TOO MUCH- "Everyone just assumes that because we have three draft picks that we`re just going to let them go (to move up), but every time we interview, for every four guys we bring in, we like one, which is pretty good odds," Orlando Magic GM John Gabriel said. "Until we see everyone in the draft, we`re going to hold on to our three picks and go from there."... On the Flipside, Nets GM John Nash says "It would take somebody blowing our doors away to give (the #1) up". The Magic have a long list of players they like, and Gabriel and his staff continue to say they may be better off in numbers, than in trade. Although the salary cap situations is keeping them talking. The Magic have denied interest in trading 3 picks for the #1, but a Magic source did say 2 picks (the upper and the lower) and a player, might be on the table to a number of teams. The Magic plan all along was to stock pile young studs as sign and trade bait for quality free agents. The Magic staff say the long term picture, with some of these young guys if they keep them, may far outweigh the short term in dealing them. The Grizzlies position on the draft changes daily, as they continue to see great players and are thinking of hanging on to the #2 pick, and its been said they really like Stromile Swift. The Clippers have recently shied away from draft trade situations, but a source close to the team said a move down might not be out of the questions, especially if they can get a 2 for one deal and still stay in the lottery, so for both the Magic and the Bulls it seems for now that maybe the #3 pick is still for sale. ------------------ Well blow me down-popeye
Smeg, I have used sarcasm many times before and several posters think I am the bi-uid for TheFreak who has a known reputation for sarcasm. The odds are much better that I will save you, than for you to corrupt me. Mango ------------------ Live long and prosper. Making a list and checking it twice....... (you know the rest).....
