BTW, here's what other "top-5" stars would do on this roster if they swapped with Harden:

    1. LBJ -- b**** and moan about having a shitty team, sit out games, ask for star player trades
    2. KD -- lead this team to barely an 8th seed, jump ship ASAP after promising to stay, and go join a 73-win team
    3. Giannis -- get your coach fired who is a HOFer, b**** and moan to front office to make moves to get ridiculous amount of help around you, but in the West, ain't ****.
    4. AD -- take a pretty decent roster, basically tank the season and force a trade because LBJ is in your damn ear
    5. Kawhi -- tell everyone you still injured only to tell em later that you're forcing a trade

let me know if i missed someone

James Harden Sr. must be a proud pappy to have fathered such a son.

The system is built around him and his skill set, he has the green light to do as he pleases on the court (speaks to his character that he doesn't take advantage of this freedom), front office is genuinely trying to add pieces to compete at high level, and combine that with playing in a big market, creating brand awareness, while making max dough, keeping mama happy, why would he ask for a trade?

give me an extension =\= he won't asked to be traded and refuse to play

like KP, Kawhi, AD. All of them will sit out with a mysterious injury but in reality they are healthy and force the team to trade them.

Harden wanted that extension because that's the most a team can give him, whether he pulls a Kawhi later on depends on if we keep losing in the postseason.

Westbrook- would literally take his teammates stats to get himself an award, scowl a lot
Curry- would chew mouthpiece, wonder what happened to all that spacing
Lillard- would give Harden’s hypothetical other team a lot of problems, still 1and done in playoffs
Embiid- would pretty much be a Twitter troll here too

Lets have a toast to the damn best player in the NBA, James Motha****in Harden. This guy is the epitome of a superstar, he never asks for a trade, he never had the help of any superstar in our generation, he never b****es to the media about not having enough help, he never asked for an extension or more money, he never pussied out and joined another superstar and yet he is least liked superstar in the history of the NBA.

Man we are truly lucky to have this dude on our team, **** what other people think of him he is the best player in the NBA.

Here's to James Edward and his mama, Monja Willis, who raised her son properly.

Btw, I'm going to bump this thread every damn week until James Edward brings us a title*.

    * Or retires, or is traded.

Great post, just surprised that you forgot another recent trade request by superstar Marquise Chriss.

We live in a world where Kristaps Porzingis is demanding trades. He's played like 2 healthy seasons total, and hasn't even played out his first contract with the Knicks. Meanwhile, James is out here wrecking teams all by himself, dragging this team to home court in the stacked West, and not b****ing for one second in the process. All hail Jim! All hail the Step Back! All hail the 2 time MVP!
