Is that Liam Neeson as Hannibal? I thought it was Treat Williams. Looks OK and glad it is still somewhat campy and not some very dark reimangining like Battlestar Galactica and V.
Looks like a whole lot of fun...but then so did GI Joe and that was horrible. But still, this trailer is better than the first trailer for GI Joe. And theme music making an appearance is gold.
It's weird ... The guy playing Murdock looks and sounds nearly identical to Dirk Benedict. Yet, Bradley Cooper is playing Face. Liam Neeson is a fantastic actor, but I can't quite see what he would be cast in George Peppard's role. If you remember Hannibal, originally, he was kind of an off-beat character.
who else saw this movie over the weekend? my friend saw it and reviewed it for our plug (shameless plug I know) http://didijustwatchthat.com/2010/06/14/the-a-team/
Just a couple of minor things about the review: grammar (it's vs its) and the rating given is 36/40 but the rating scale says it's out of 100. I did enjoy the review though, and I will definitely go watch this movie, along with The Expendables. Testosterone baby!
yeah my friend wrote it late last night/early this morning and I mentioned to him the rating scale difference he'll probably will fix that later today. as for the grammar its just the two of us really just having fun with it we aren't (rodrick) rhodes scholars or anything
I liked the movie, a bunch of stuff blowing up and decent action. I laughed pretty hard throughout the movie. My wife did not like it at all. But she likes Sex and the City II so yeah...
Is it just me, or are three "A-Team" movies coming out this year. The first was "The Losers", now "A-Team", and next "The Expendables". They are all the same story. The Losers was meh. I hope the others are better.
I saw it yesterday evening. I really enjoyed it. It was nice to go to the theater and just watch a fun movie full of over the top action and humor. Hate to sound stupid, but the very end lost me. But, once I re-watch it when it comes out on blu-ray, hopefully I'll pick it up where I got confused. Pretty damn good movie though.... 8/10
I've got a couple of suggestions now that the site is up and running... For one, I think you should stick to reviewing newer movies, rather than bad movies that many people have likely already seen (ie. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen). I mean, the tagline for your site is "We watch terrible movies so you don't have to". I'd also like to see some of the really bad straight to DVD type movies that I see at Blockbuster, such as this... Also, if you're going to use a standard rating system (ie. 0-100) I think it'd be best to make the final score more visible, so readers can quickly and easily scroll down and see what a movie received. You could do something as simple as changing the font size/weight/color to make it stand out, or you could even create a graphic and lay the score over it. If you're interested in the latter, let me know and I may be able to help.
I liked it, better than I expected, it was what it was, a fun blow-up action pic, had enough of a story to balance the action scenes it still mindboggles me that Karate Kid made almost twice than this movie did, but I still haven't watched Karate Kid
