Not really sour grapes. Just that our personnel moves in terms of our role players and our "assets" in general leave a lot to be desired. That's just the way it is. If you disagree then so be it.

Damon Jones signed for 2.5M/yr with Miami. It wasnt a "money thing" as you suggest. That was JVG choosing Ward over Jones just because he knew him better.

Which we should be right now. Because as I said "We dont have ASSETS now because we either gave them away or didnt resign them. And now the players we either didnt resign or gave away are the exact same type of players we are trying to ACQUIRE NOW!"

We are making mistakes by not signing players to fill voids and then trying to go out and sign those same type of players.

It all brings up the question of who is making the decisions nowadays.
If CD is in charge, then he's been getting poor results for some time now and you have to take a hard look at him.
But if CD is just there to assist JVG now, then more slack is warranted. I think we need to give JVG three years before we can fairly evaluate him (especially considered the massive turnover on the team this year). Les will certainly give him that long, so it's not like we have a choice.

My solution is to build a TIME MACHINE, so that we can go back in TIME to do WHAT YOUR SOLUTION IS.

And even then your theory wouldn't work due to chaos theory and all that.

But since you asked: My solution is tank and hope for a draft day miracle. And get a new personnel guy, CD's days are done, IMO.

I wouldn't be opposed to trading anyone from our team either. That means Yao and Tracy too. If they keep playing like this, their values are only going to depreciate.

The latter. The sad thing is that most people seem to have gotten numb to it, so he can just continue to do his thing.

FYI contrary to common impression(including previously mine), Bowen hustles but is not a productive hustler. He plays ten minutes a game, and he gets you a grand total of 1.6 point, ONLY 1 rebound(sucky), 0.4 steal, and 0.1 block(that really strikes fear into the oppoents). One rebound in ten minutes! Boki is a much better rebounder at sf at 6.5 minutes for one rebound. If Boki takes Bowen minutes we can get nearly two more points and one more rebound, but obviously Bowen's mysterious hustle play weighs more than that in JVG's eyes. To get minutes under JVG one must praise the coach's pet peeve - the defensive oriented approach - like Bowen did, and flail the arms in a mad man way like Bruce Lee's flails on defense, or dive on the floor all the time like a volleyball player. Great, might as well train Jet Li as a volleyball player and sign him to a ten year contract.
