    I voted yes.

    :D

I want to know if people think he should go into the hall of fame now that it has been clearly proven he is a cheater.

    ;)

    Yes, and yes.

Gaylord Perry is in the Hall of Fame. So are several other confirmed cheaters.

I agree, and I think Barry Bonds should go in too.

I think so many cheated that you either have to not let anyone in or just overlook them all.

The way I look at the "steroid era" is you have to assume *all* were users & either a) elect people based on their performance relative to this era; or b) don't elect anyone at all.

    I agree.

I mean, we've disagreed so much the last few days I had to pipe in when there was something positive.

I'd hazard a guess that many will disagree, but I think Mark "one-trick-pony" McGwire should go in as well.

More agreement, there is just no way to single out people in an era when there is doubt amongst everyone.

If MLB tries to keep some out for alleged use, I think it makes them look even worse.

MLB and the HOF are different entities. Lifetime bans from the game, ala Rose & Jackson, are recognized by the Hall; short of that, there's nothing MLB can do to keep them out. The BBWAA, on the other hand....

How can you possibly answer this with a simple yes/ no -- there are so many different perspectives on this NATIONAL CRISIS.
