Honestly, I believe that Clutch only interferes when he views it as necessary. I believe that my concerns are rational and well founded in fact. I honestly think there should be some sort of down-vote system in place here. Yes, there is REP which is great in telling if a poster submits quality content, or etc. Would be cool if it worked similar to Reddit where the junk threads gradually disappear versus the current system where a simple bump will bring that ****ty thread all the way to the top again. You don't see this type of garbage on reddit.com/r/nba or reddit.com/r/rockets because people value their stupid little internet karma. Hence why people are better behaved and aren't attacking the living **** out of everyone. I rarely post in the GARM, but it's honestly pretty bad in here sometimes. Also, as someone who has hung out with multiple Clutchfans IN PERSON, half of you wouldn't say the type of stuff you post in real life.

reasonable desire... well stated.... I actually agree... but meaningless.... A) This thread will fall off the front page in a day or two and be forgotten. B) By the time its gone, my guess is only 10% will actually have seen it... C) A healthy % of the bad threads are newbies who are a constant influx. if a difference is really to be made, a permanent message needs to be posted and the site should put restraints on those who can start new threads.... (ie you get assessed after 100 posts to see if you get threadstarting privileges...) ...imo
Have you been reading my mind? Do I need a tin foil cap? Just kidding. But I had been thinking along the lines of low star threads degrading on the GARM much faster than higher ranked threads. It is something for Clutch to consider.
I agree with every single point you made. And I am sort of back door lobbying for Clutch to institute something like that. But on the positive side, this thread has survived around the top of the GARM for 3 more days than I expected it to.
You just helped me to realize that I don't have to keep the default sort, which is by last post. I can easily re-sort the threads by stars, and it then automatically sub-sorts for regency of posts. Cool!
You keep this up for another few months and you may find yourself as a contributing member, able to edit your posts.
