No chance that LeBron is in a Rockets jersey next season.

    It won't happen.

I think he wants his cake and eat it too. He wants a championship and money/fame as well. Lebron knows that he needs veteran help, but Shaq is old now and Jamison isn't good enough to get it done.
I feel he will leave Cleveland. I think he wouldn't have a problem playing with Nash,Amare or Dirk. I don't see how either the Suns or the Mavs can get him though.
I don't think he will want to join a rebuilding team even if they acquire top picks.

There is only one way I see us having any chance at Lebron:

    1) we strike a deal with Bosh quickly and agree to the sign and trade and do not lose too much in the process.
    2) Lebron takes a while deciding between all his suitors.
    3) Morey, Bosh, and Yao show up at his house to recruit him.

Even if all 3 happen that's still like a 5% chance.

Its simple. I keep hearing about all of this talk how Lebron James is going to go to Chicago or New York. If he is actually going to leave Cleveland, he is going to go somewhere where he can be in the similar situation as Kobe is now. New York, Chicago, New Jersey, or Clippers with the addition of Lebron James are better than the 2009-2010 Cleveland Cavaliers. There is only a handful of teams that if he signed with, they would be instant contenders, if not favorites to win the title. Of course, you are thinking to yourself Cleveland had the best team last year and came up short. The reason they came up short has nothing to do with Lebron. It is about his teammates and or coaching staff were unable to provide the necessary game plan and or effort to get out of the second round.

As a Rocket fan I can always dream. I try not to be a homer, but I cant help but think that if we added Lebron, we would instantly be a contending team and a favorite to win the title. I beleive that our roster with Lebron is better than his Cav team that just lost out of the playoffs. How are we better? It's simple. Effort. That's it. You always here commentators on ESPN talking about effort and how much they love to see it. Frankly, as a Rockets fan I am tired of just hearing effort. That is all we have had to look at the past decade. We were forced to watch just pure effort due to injuries of our key players.

Let's say one of Lebron's advisers mentions Houston as a possible destination. What would/ could he say? Well for one, they play hard. Yao is there, but can he stay healthy? They have a great front office who knows how to home grow talent as opposed to overpaying washed up veterans who are just looking to hop on the championship wagon before their own wheels fall off. They have a big market in Houston, with it being the 4th largest city in the country. Not to mention all of the fans from China that could turn me into the billionaire owner that I want to be one day.

If Lebron is serious about winning a title now, this is a place he should seriously consider. If it is not as big of a deal to him as it is to hang out in New York with Jay-Z, then he will end up being a flashy Karl Malone or Charles Barkley. All time greats with no bling to show for it. I'm not saying we are or should be his first choice, but we should at least cross his mind if he is indeed going down the free agent road with a "smart" approach.

I think there is just so much hype regarding LeBron...in a perfect world he would realize that he is overpaid, just like every other sports star, and should sign where he has the highest chance of winning a championship...isn't that the point of playing any sport...to win??

Just imagine if the best players: Kobe, Durant, LeBron, Wade, Howard, Dirk, Yao and other like players signed on the same team regardless of salary (they make enough from sponsors anyways).

Money is too much what professional sports are all about...terrible but all too real. I still love the excitement though.

My Prediction - Take it to the bank (Bank of America that is) hehe ;) ;)

    Lebron will Leave Cleveland !!!

    Reasons

1- Hasn't reached the final in 6 years and has reached limit with team / coach

2- Wants to be Billionare (needs to win now and big market)

    3 - Needs a proper point Guard

4 - DELONTE WEST SLEPT WITH HIS MUM !!!! ( this seals it)

Morey should say "come to Houston Lebron .. no one will sleep with your mum we promise !!!

I don't see how you can say this when NY has nobody on the roster and NJ has eight nobodies on the roster. Clippers at least have Baron Davis and Kamen (of the six people on the roster for next season), but I don't believe that adding LBJ makes them better than this year's Cav's.

NJ has Brook Lopez, who improved alot in his 2nd season. He's a 19/9/2 in his 2nd year. If he improves only half as much in his 3rd season, he will be 22/10/2. He is certainly comparable to Kaman, if not better because of his continued improvement.

NJ also has a pick in 1-4 draft position, which gives them either Wall, Turner, Cousins or Favors.

They also have a new billionaire owner that spend freely on acquiring talent and buying draft picks like Paul Allen.

...which makes them a team that is beginning a restructuring period...

....which is where the Cavs were seven years ago.

Also, you both forgot Devin Harris, who's not chump change. :)
