No replacement for Rick. He'll lead us to championship if we would have healthy championship caliber lineup.

Rick is the best coach for this team. Almost any other coach in the league would have us as a top ten lotterry team. Rick will lead us to the best record not to make the playoffs again. He deserves coach of the year for that. It is for that reason I wish to fire him. I suggest we kill 2 birds with one stone. Retire battier and hire him as our new head coach.

we would be in the finals if Yao and T-Mac could stay healthy under him

He is an elite coach with unique understanding of the game and we can't find anyone better than him

I don't think that we should talk about his replacement if we all know that his "replacement" would be much worse than him. It's stupid. we should get only better with no stepbacks

Yeah but you also have to think about the possibility that he's sick of coaching young players because he wants to win now. Maybe he wants to leave.

But maybe he wants to win now cause if Morey can make a blockbuster trade, Rockets still would have a chance to become a part of top-8 in the west? win as much as possible games before deadline means a lot for a some newcomers and for this season

And I can't agree with you about our youngsters

He developed Brooks, Landry, Lowry, Von and Budinger in his first 2.5-3 years. I a have no complains about Hill, Terrence and Pat-Pat. He'll develop them also, no doubt

I like the idea of getting rid of Adelman and bringing in a sacrificial young coach. Rockets suck really bad for 2-3 years get a few top 5 lottery picks. Bring in a veteran coach to take over.

And don't even try to forget about Morey's comments

He said that december was a decisive month and if we would struggle there - we would be a tanking team right now. Instead of that Rockets won 11 games and we were very much alive before that sick stretch

Getting rid of Rick would stupid. However, I do want to think about a new coach because I think Rick might not want to hang around without players that can take him deep into the playoffs.

Sooo...if Rick leaves my first choice would be JVG. I doubt he would do it. Larry Brown would be nice second choice.

However, say no to Ellie. He doesn't have what it takes to be a successful winning coach in the NBA.

    First choice Jeff Van Gundy

    Then
    Elston Turner
    Mike brown

I would like tom izzo if morey could convince him to move to the NBA. Mike fratello is another coach out there as well who hasn't coached in a few years and is defensive minded.

I found it curious that eschewing the midrange jumpshot is key to a good offense was mentioned twice, in Mike D'Antoni's and SVG.

Either get an open 3pt shot off double teams to Stoudemire or Howard, or drive inside/attack the basket I guess.

Perhaps just a fancy way of saying "Don't just settle for jumpers."

larry brown coulnd't help the knicks mr. pringles needed an all-star to start winning. Heck i doubt phil jackson can do anything with our roster, we dont have any quality big men that play above the rim.
