?? did you not read my earlier post. i think you should. a good dose of logic every now and then does wonders for your ability to not sound ridiculous. and i can't believe you would actually post this, after a huge win over the spurs, in which the bench played out of their mind....sigh. sometimes it makes me sad knowing that there are rockets fans like this out there...absolutely mind boggling.
I think this thing happen only 5% if not less. If you play them a lot, most time they will lose. Consistance is what we need. If your heard about the story "Wait by a stump for a hare" you know what I mean.
im sorry but thats ludicrous. first of all, i dont know where you got 5% from. but man, if thats true, then what are we arguing about? obviously the numbers dont lie. second, we're not saying play them alot. we're saying play them, period. its not even just about how much they can produce, its how much they can help their teammates out by giving them a breather. third, we need a lot of things. consistency is one. it doesn't solve everything. the rockets can be consistently bad if they run a 6-7 man rotation and have rafer alston logging 40 minutes a game. that will be a very consistent lineup. what we need is to win. you do everything you can to put your team in a position to win. that means shaking things up when the team gets stuck in a rut. it doesnt mean 'lets stick with this lineup even though its struggling, because hey, consistency is everything, and id much rather be consistent than unexpectedly good.' i think lucas surprised the haters here and played unexpectedly good. definitely not enough credit being given here. that was the single best thing jvg did last night. although i did love how he got so pissed off after that offensive rebound-ginobili 3. i could feel his passion there, and that is one thing i've always like about van gundy.
