    Can I bet on standings?

    6. Lakers
    7. Jazz
    8. Rockets
    9. Suns - out of the playoffs

Each mistake, I'll lay down $4 for the tip jar.
Somebody make this thread a sticky!

    Came to the office.
Had a cup of hot red decaf tea.
Done all the trivial preps for the day.
    Checked emails.
Checked earth-shaking news (Sadam is still smoking).
Finally, took a breath and opened the URL.

Man! I am pleasantly surprised how quickly some hatas followed my example and converted themselves to lovas:D All sorts of stuff. Too much for the breakfast. So, here I am again, trying to pop this thread up for some more betters on this prediction game. Look, betting your money on something is a real game. Betting your money on the Rockets is noble;) Come on.

Random observations. I am pretty sure now that the Rockets has been running a two-dimentional offense, that is, a dribble-ISO offense. If there is any concept of spacing in this offense, it's mainly initiated from dribbling, rather than passing/motion in the likes of the tripple post offense or the UCLA offense. To be honest, many ISOs I have seen were not all that bad in the first place. The problem is not ISO itself. The problem lies in the fact that when an ISO is initiated, there is little motion around court to create spacing or even more importantly, to create secondary options when the primary ISO doesn't work.

For the rest of the season, I am interested in BSing with you about what offense the Rockets are running and what kind of offenses you want them to run. I am not any good in Xs and Os in bball. I just want to happy BS the rest of the season. No harm. No hurt.

In order for me to keep my $40, I predict the Rockets will have their longest winning streak after the All Star break.

    Rockets 43:39
    Lakers 50:32
    Timberwolves 51:31
    Suns 44:38

I lost three counts and won the last count. Just paid $30 via PayPal. Unfortunately, I won the count that I would wish I lost so that Rox could be in that playoff spot.
