I for one will happily eat a supersized order of crow if JVG takes us to the Finals but I'm having a hard time seeing that.

Remember there was a lot of hype about JVG last year and he only improved the team by 2 wins over an abreviated Rudy T season. This year we've dumped the trouble makers and we're still seeing the Rox play pretty much the same.

    (1) Was that paragraph supposed to make any sense? It DID NOT.

    (2) Miller High Life? I have never had that beverage. You obviously know something about it though.

    (3) If the organization were winning, or even playing entertaining basketball, they might manage to break 10K on a regular basis on weeknights. Les cares that people are not coming to the arena. If eliminating Van Gundy and his slow-down basketball guaranteed more sellouts, you can guarantee it would happen in a Houston minute.

    Sir Chang,

I see it like this. Our D was great last year. On offense, SF and Cat "just don't get it", together with the fact Yao was playing like a wuss, we did as good as we could last year.

This year, it's a whole NEW story, we don't know how it's going to end yet. I'm seeing enough progress to stay optimistic though.

I would have to say of late Yao has been posting much deeper and it seems like he is finishing with Dunks more, also he is finding a way to rebound with his little T-Rex arms

I have also enjoyed our pushing the ball up

Although not getting starters minutes for his performances it appears Howard starting is helping us with better starts

By limiting their posessions, I meant not giving them second chance opportunities, aka holding them to one shot. I don't think it has anything to do with slowing down the game to make them have less. Talking about his philosophy. You're right though, he does have a low tolerance for bad shots that come early in the shot clock -- any coach really should. That's why Rudy T was run out and JVG brought in. Francis and company were ISO'ing and jacking, JVG atleast wants the best shot possible, no matter when it is in the count.

Nonsense. Buying the team gives you the right to set expectations.

As a fan, you have a right to support whichever team you choose to. If you're not satisfied, you can change anytime. Even now. Like, today. ;)

I have a hard time seeing him take the Rockets to the finals in even a few years but like I said if JVG is still the coach at some future point and takes the Rox to the Finals I will gladly eat a supersize order of crow.

I was positive earlier but wow that just sucked. We need players around Tmac and Yao to make shots. I saw people miss repeatedly and turn the ball over. Kapono lit us up. Mo made some shots. No one else could. Tmac can draw triple teams but it's useless if no one can help.

You are the one who brought it up. Oh, by the way...

JVG clearly didn't agree with you.
