Let's trade him to Portland for Rudy Fernandez AND Sergio Rodriguez, the Oregon people LOVE Aaron Brooks (for those who don't know, AB was the star PG for the University of Oregon for a good FOUR years) P.S. More realisticly, AB for Sergio might just work out since they're the same age & everything
The plus/minus isn't a true indicator of anything that's going on in a given game. Morey had a perfect quote about it, but if you're still using that as a barometer for anything less than a 50 game sample - well it does explain most of your posts.
You are still overrating AB. He doesn't have that much potential, otherwise he'd be drafted by NBA before his senior year. Don't compare AB with Parker, Parker was a guy who had tons of potential, that's why he got drafted before 20 year old. How old is AB now?
Lowry has a terrific game. Brooks had that "deer in the headlights" look, and the Mavs seemed to lick their chops when he came on the court. God, how I hope he gets over that! Lowry made a huge case for being the starting point. The guy plays like he's been in the league several years longer than Brooks. Terrific pickup by Morey!
You really think Brooks should of been in the game down the stretch??!!! Adleman tried putting Brooks back in the game in the 4th with like 5 min to go and he took him right out. The problem with Aaron (and turstme, I love Aaron, I' am a big fan of the little guy) is when his shot isn't falling (which was the case last night) his is pretty much useless. He depends WAY to much on his shot to open up the rest of his game.
Uh, yeah, I think AB's even worse at that. I've said it over and over, I do'nt understand why Ron Artest has the ball 5 seconds into the office, it makes no sense to me. Unless he's going to drive in, draw some attention, and kick it back out, I don't think he can do anything positive with the ball, and I don't even want to see him driving into 4 people at once! Just bad to have Ron with the ball so early in the offense...
