I agree that it would be idiotic to trade for a bum-knee Kidd with $100 million in future salary coming his way. Just say no to Kidd!

    LOL

I started this thread out of frustration, but it actually gave me a good laugh. Keep these stupid ideas coming.

I still have yet to see that one trade where it just leaves me speachless. I'll even throw in a reward. Probably some money in the tip jar in your name.

Shaq hater is probably the best up so far.

    Okay how about this:

    With the Clippers
    Wilcox and the #12 pick
    for
TE Future 1st and 2nd round pick

    Then

    With the Grizz
Bonzi Welles and the #19 pick
    for
Sura, Wesley, and a future 2nd rounder

    Then

    With the Blazers
Darius Miles and the #3 pick
    for
Spoon and the #12 and the #19 picks

We draft Chris Paul with the #3 and maybe SG like Marko Thomas, or a PF like Blatche with the #24. Thomas can play in Europe for another year, and Blatche could go to the D-league if they set it up as a minor league. Then we'd have a lineup of:

    Paul, James, Mooch, Ward
    Bonzi, Barry,
    T-mac, Miles
    Wilcox, Howard, Baker, Padge
    Yao, Deke

Oh but I'm not done. Next we wait until the season starts and then a team like Boston starts to implode. Paul Pierce becomes unhappy, and Ainge gets trigger happy. Then we do this deal:

    Paul Pierce, Raef Lafrentz
    for
Bonzi, Howard, Baker, Mooch and guy we drafted at #24.

So our final lineup after the trade deadline would be:

    C.Paul, James, Ward
    Pierce, Barry
    T-Mac, Miles
    Wilcox, Lafrentz, Padge
    Yao, Deke, Lafrentz

There you go. I'd like to see some preposterous trade suggester try to top that.

As long as the thread starter is serious in their trade proposal, I enjoy the responses most of the time. It helps me learn how the CBA and these freaky cap things operate.

    Somewhere a place for us
Peace and quiet and open air
    Wait for us
    Somewhere...

That would never work -- Isaiah would demand a second-round pick in return for his first-round pick.

Or if Weisbrod the Idiot didn't quit yet, he could trade away Orlando's pick then publicy insult the pick claiming it had a bad work ethic and was overpaid. Followed shortly by announcing he's decided to trade Dwight Howard and the following year's 1st round pick to Indiana for Jeff Foster.:)

Where did you find that. I've been checking Ford's blog and articles lately, and I didn't come across that bit.
