At least you didn't suggest Madagascar. I was actually wondering recently how differently the world would look today if the Nazis' Madagascar solution was implemented. Unfortunately for the Cuba plan, I don't think the Israelis are interested in moving. As it is, they have Jews coming from unoppressed situations, like living in New York or something, to Israel knowing all their neighbors will hate them. If they all came to the States, I don't think we'd even much notice the impact. We have more illegal Mexicans than Israel has citizens. Lol. Unfortunately, the French have as much history with anti-Semitism as the Germans do, and mostly escape from the WWII-guilt that helps keep Germans in check. And much of it seems to be a fear that the Jews control everything. They'd just feel vindicated if the Jews came in and really did control everything.
I think moving Israel to New Mexico would be a great idea. You could give them twice the amount of land. We wouldn't have to worry about providing them all that military aid. And it would be the end of the conflict. Everyone would be happy.
The earth would have to swallow up all of ancient Jerusalem before the Jews would leave the Holy Land. It is hard to understand such devotion to real estate, but as Americans we all have the restless gene built into us. Our forefathers were the ones who got up and left the fatherland, motherland or whatever you all the ancestral homeland.
Just bless the next hurricane that comes through and it'll sprinkle the whole country with holy water. Voila - Kosher cigars!
This is the problem with this world. An option to end many wars in the future and noone is willing to consider it. If Israel stays, no matter what you do. Peace will not last there. What is the big deal about the land, about Jerusalem? Many Jews moved away. Many countries, races or groups of people moved from where they ancestors started.
We love Jews here in America, they deserve to live here. In my honest opinion, the WZO did the Jews of the world (especially Eastern Europe) a disservice by lobbying with the US government to prevent the affected Jews from moving here in the first place. My Palestinian brothers would never have been displaced, the Middle East would be pro United States (see communism), and the Jews would not fear persecution.
It would be a lot easier to relocate the Palestinians in the West Bank to Jordan and those in Gaza to Egypt. Israel claims that land and everyone goes home happy.
They should reduce all the religious symbols to rubble. Then, all you have is holy sand. You can then ship holy sand to whereever either of these people re-settle. Hell, get Dubai to build an island right off the coast there made of holy sand. Noone liked my Hickbollah joke?
