I like JD a lot. I am happy for his success. His political stances today stink, but I like him. Harris comes off aloof and unapproachable to me. But I lover her politics.
Have you seen JD Vance do a speech? It's deadpan GOP talking points and then a fake stretched out grin after every talking points. There were people at the RNC convention floor who were very disappointed in how lacking in charisma Vance is.
Because he doesn't believe in any of it. He's in it for the power and he is Thiel's Muse. Gay Billionaire Peter Thiel. The same Peter Thiel who coopted Hulk Hogan to crush gawker. The man is a real power broker on the right.
I just worry that won't mobilize enough of the electorate to vote. The 2020 had an increase of 20 million voters compared to 2016. Way more than is typical. Will all those people vote again, and if not which will be ones to do so?
Elon is right behind him. Silly valleys gay billionaires acting like fake libertarians is a thing. Yuge donor pool.
These are like bot troll accounts that hope the viewer of the tweets don't look any further into these claims? There is no state law that doesn't allow a president to resign. Like a candidate looses a child and can't carry on but they are forced to run? No that makes no logical sense. This is moon man ****.
Conservatives on here will now try to demonize or villify Harris but it won't b as effective as questioning biden mental health. its gonna b The prosecutor vs the felon.
in her first address to her campaign tem. Kamala Harris touts her record as a prosecutor “In those roles, I took on perpetrators of all kinds. Predators who abused women, fraudsters who ripped off consumers, cheaters who broke the rules for their own gain. So hear me when I say: I know Donald Trump's type,” she said.,
I don't think AOC. Just for the fact Harris is Cali and she is NY. The dems will win these states regardless. The VP needs to come from a swing state, I think. AOC would get the young vote but might turn off the old dems.
You're showing yourself to be very bad at politics. The young do not vote in meaningful ways. There is no vast untapped reservoir of untapped "HARD CORE" leftist voters in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona, or Wisconsin just waiting to be unleashed. Of things that matter, I think this is probably 10th on the list. We do not want to kill the "white old people party". That is some 2020-era, terminally-online rhetoric and it's shocking you can't see how much of a losing argument it is. Nominating a New York DSA member or an openly gay man (even though I think Pete is a very strong debater) for VP would be a death sentence in this moment of hope.
