Two thoughts: 1) Techno-illiteracy is unfortunately a bi-partisan problem. Most of Congress barely knows how web 2.0 stuff works. I would not expect an intelligent answer from most anyone in DC about AI, 2) Not sure of the context that this talk was given in, but it's also pretty common that politicos have to slow-walk stuff as their audience is sometimes the lowest common denominator.

deb4rockets and astros123 are the funniest posters in the forum. What's embarrassing for them is that their comedy is unintentional, which is always the funniest kind. Sadly, nobody is laughing with them, only at them. Deb just pulled off a laughable double post where she called me a "pompous pig", and then 9 minutes later posted again calling me a "pompous racist cheauvenistic pig". While she struggles with spelling chauvinistic, her rage posting and knee-jerk reaction to anything she disagrees with is to resort immediately to insults and of course tossing the race card out there. She's intellectually lazy and would prefer to try to insult and shout down those she disagrees with rather than calmly respond. I think that's the case....or she could simply be incapable of responding with fact, logic and reason and all she has are insults and hurling the race card. In any event, given that Deb did not improve as a poster during my two year break from the board, I will no longer respond to her, as she's now been tossed in the bucket of "not smart enough to earn a response from bigtexxx".
