    @Space Ghost
    It’s just racial tribalism
    And political party tribalism
That people here are defending her

I think AOC might be smarter than her
At least she doesn’t melt down on tv on a simple question

Parroting right wing talking points with no real substance or critical thinking further enforces my point.

Actually if you listen to left leaning talk radio/pod she was actually quite popular as a Senator, and everyone (even progressives) were very intrigued with her as a candidate. Especially her Medicare expansion proposal which quite freaked out the Bernie camp where they went on a serious attack campaign targeting not Biden, not Warren, but Harris because they saw her as a real threat to Bernie.

The reporting would tell a story of a campaign that had issues internally with her staff more than anything, and she likely cut a deal with everyone not named Bernie to get out early to back and maybe be a running mate for the person who was last in with Bernie. You really cannot tell the story appropriately about Kamala as a Dem candidate without the Bernie dynamic. Not that they hate each other, but because of the political jockeying.

For someone who wants to be perceived as independent, I would urge you to actually use some objective critical thinking skills instead of just blurting out thoughtless right wing talking points like "well... people just don't like her... blah blah".... You aren't a Democrat and you obviously consume ALOT of right wing propaganda so you wouldn't know anyways what Democrats think of her.... so maybe you just shouldn't speak on our behalf anyways.

Hell yes it does. Democrats and Independents end up absorbing subconsciously right wing talking points whether they know it or not. Now, as I noted with Ghost, those who are truly on the left have a more complicated history with Kamala, but it's just not as simple as right wing media wants it to be. She could easily be a presidential candidate who could create a Biden like coalition with her policy positions which are flexible like Biden's and can absorb alot of factions in the party.

I really just do not think that you guys really understand Democratic voters. Even some of my Dem friends who get sucked into these narratives are victim to it because honestly... the right wing propaganda machine is very very good at what they do, and they are well tooled for the job. They did it with Hillary, and they'll continue to do it again to anyone they see as a big enough threat.

    Please reread my post.

Harris specifically stated she dropped out because she could not get funding. There is no right wing talking point. There is no speculating. She simply was not getting the funding to continue the campaign. You are completely speculating stating she "likely cut a deal". Why would she cut a deal 10 months before the election when Bernie had the momentum? Professionals dont quit at the beginning of the race to be the winners caddy.

Outside of her left wing progressive followers, she is very unfavorable across the nation. 28% approval rating. There is no right wing conspiracy undermining her popularity. She is essentially Sarah Palin of the left. You dont see me relentlessly beating up democrats, but yes, Harris, Palin, Warren, Pelosi and AOC are utter trash. And the Republicans have a whole long list of really bad male candidates too.

Kamala Harris is like a worse Hillary Clinton…doubt she’ll ever be popular

Dems can’t have old Biden and Kamala as the potential options in 2024. That’s like making 15-16 Dwight your #1 option on offense.

Well you definitely just outed yourself there. Your “hey I’m a guy with no dog in this fight” act doesn’t hold up too well when you compare Biden to Westbrick… probably the player in the NBA that affects winning the least and about the only player who can make a Lebron team implode this bad.

Also when Trump is officially running again and being covered every day, watch what happens to Biden’s approval.

If Biden decides not to run because of health or because there are primaries which will make governing impossible for two years, Kamala will have to prove herself among a slew of candidates so I don’t really know why people are freaking out about her being a given as the 24 top of the ticket. If she is it’s because she ran a good campaign and proved herself against candidates like Liz Warren, etc. who would be running if Biden announces he’s done.

I honestly think if Biden really is that unpopular come 23, which I doubt but who knows with Covid, the primary candidate who is viewed as an outsider has the best shot at winning, and will do much better than Harris or even Warren.

Kamala will be the top choice for the left in '24 unless Michelle announces a run.
