No I don't. I was using that as an example. You guys seem to blame Mo ALONE for why we are losing, and I think that's unrealistic. It's just called a dose of your own medicine. I will promise you one thing right now- If I ever get to where I am disappointed with Mo, I will tell everyone here. I'm wrong a lot, as we all are. But quite honestly, I am extremely pleased with Mo to this point, and I definitely want him back. Everything I am posting is legitimately my view on the situation. ------------------ President of the Jason Collier and Mo Taylor fan club! Looking for next year's Jason Collier or Dan Langhi? No one is blaming Mo for loosing. We are just saying that he sucks. He was brought in here to shore up our Power Forward spot and he hasn't come close to doing that. And weather you agree or not the lack of production from our PF will limit this team in the win collum. ------------------
Exactly we are not blaming the losses on him , some people want to point how bad he really sucks. ------------------ Vice President of the Jason Collier fan club!
IMO right now he's about the 3rd or 4th best player on the team, and that's nowhere close to sucking on a team with a record like we do. But what I'm saying is by the same rationale and explanations you use to say Mo sucks, you can also say almost any other player on the team sucks. And many times they are deserving of much more criticism than Mo. But nope. Just Mo every time. Never anyone else. ------------------ President of the Jason Collier and Mo Taylor fan club! Because some people made it seem like Mo is all that after that game against the sonics, so now for the mo lovers lets see what they think now. ------------------ Vice President of the Jason Collier fan club!
Francis3, Do you have any kind of a memory? Since DAY ONE anytime Mo did below expectations ON THE STAT SHEET, everyone here has let him have it. So technically, we could make that same argument that we were letting you guys have it because you said he sucked. So it was okay after Mo had one bad game for people to bash him without end, but it's not okay after Mo has one good game for anyone to praise him? ------------------ President of the Jason Collier and Mo Taylor fan club! I dont understand how you back Mo Taylor up so much. ------------------ Vice President of the Jason Collier fan club!
Give it up Cat. Mo bashers are just trolling at this point. We have no hope of converting them. (lord knows I've tried) ------------------ I miss Charles.
Calm down ppl... Mo Taylor does not suck at all. He has just gotten off to a relatively poor start. I'm not gonna say that I'm pleased with Taylor like TheCat is saying... in fact I am a little disappointed in him, but he has shown flashes of brilliance. There's no denying that this guy has some serious offensive firepower... the defense and rebounding need to be worked on though they really arent as bad as some people make them out to be. The last 2 games, MO's been really aggresive. In Seattle, things were rolling for him. In Vancouver, his shots simply were not falling. Everyone has these types of games... I think its partly due to the fact that everyone expected another big game out of him like the one against Seattle. The point is that he's been aggresive, and usually, when he is aggresive, he plays well. Now that he has been given the OK by the coach to take more shots, I think he will be producing more. And now that it's gotten through to him that he should drive more instead of just shooting, he will be even more productive. I mean, he himself has been frustrated with his games, so he's still got a lot to prove. It's not like he's satisfied with himself or anything. And contrary to what many people are saying, he does hustle. He's good at rotating over and blocking off people who are driving, providing some much needed weakside help. A lot of times he will go for the block, and though he wont get it, the guy's shot will be changed. Maybe that's why he doesnt get as many rebounds... cuz he's forced to come over and try to block the penetrator? And did you all see his block against Vancouver last night (Mo got ripped, but he ran all the way back downcourt, and blocked the guy who had an open layup). I've seen him do this kinda thing( run down court and block an open layup) about 3 times in the season already. All in all, Mo's a guy that can fit in very well with us. He's got a good jumper, he's young, he can post, he can drive... he can do it all on offense. He's just gotta find his rhythm, and once he does, he will start playing like he is capable of playing... and if he does that, then he could be a very good long-term solution(that is if cwebb doesnt come here). ------------------ da ability to focus attention on important things is a defining characteristic of intelligence - alaskanSnowman [This message has been edited by alaskansnowman (edited December 12, 2000).]
