Gordon is more than just a scorer. And there's no guarantee on signing marquee FA. A team that in win now mode trading a quarter of the integral part of the rotation for scrubs during the season will hurt the team and the feeling of the players. It's also not attractive to FA.

I understand this logic and almost agree... it is a risky move but I think with Harden and CP3 as our core we can definitely get some sort of talent. The chance to pair Demarcus Cousin with Harden and CP3 is just too much for me to not give it a thought.
